Asus Expo 2011 is breaking the Limits in Vietnamese cities of Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi

Asus Expo 2011 (Annual Exhibition), with the theme “Breaking the limits” was held in the Vietnamese cities of Ho Chi Minh (on 31st of July, 2011) and Hanoi (on 6th of August, 2011).

The event was expected to welcome more than 10,000 registered visitors to experience and explore Asus’s latest products in Vietnam. ASUS Expo 2011, brings together the technological achievements of the most impressive, most surprising of more than 100 new products like laptops, motherboards, graphics cards, products for entertainment, audiovisual and game play.

Mr. Jeff Lo, Vietnam ASUS CEO said: “We chose this year’s exhibition theme – ‘Breaking the limits’ to convey the message of creative, innovative, pioneering in product, technologies and services of ASUS.  This is our chance to meet, interact and share with the young people who love technology and the public – the achievements that ASUS has achieved. ASUS is oriented towards implementation and we welcome and efforts to give visitors a memorable event, and a perfect impression”.

Asus showcased its latest high-end gadgets including:

  • ASUS G53SX

  • K-series (with aluminum alloy lid)

  • The ultra-light – U/UX/bamboo lid (Eco friendly) laptop series

  • The N-series laptops equipped with audio technology exclusively from SonicMaster – N/NX/N-Jay Chou (Incredible J)

  • Asus EeePad Transformer tablet (Asus sold over 1,500 Transformer tablets in Vietnam since June 19, 2011)
  • Asus EeePad Slider (Asus EeePad Slider tablet will be on sale soon in Vietnam)
  • Asus motherboards and graphics cards, LCD monitors, and gaming-multimedia entertainment solutions

The Event was planed with exciting competitions and interesting-attractive prize reward (over 4,000 registering online and over 1,000 registering via the social network Facebook). Especially, the ASUS lucky draw for visitors registered online and at the show with prizes as the Eee PC netbook (R101D), N43SL notebook and many other valuable gifts.

ASUS Expo 2011 was advertised with The Increadible J Special Edition N-series. The N43SL designed and inspiration by Asian Pop Superstar Jay Chou (his music style is a mix of Chinese sound and international styles) has co-created this special edition with ASUS.

The notebook is signed by the famous singer and on its soft-touch keyboard (that feels like a set of piano keys) the J-key (differs from all other keys on the keyboard) has a unique J-letter (in calligraphic style).

This notebook is inspired by Jay Chou’s love of music, martial arts and typography and is personally tailored for his fans.

The Asus N43SL comes with Black and Gold or Black and Dark Pink ceramic lid with special patterns comprising Sol keys, J-letter, spades, hearts and ornaments of the East and West. It also has a powerful economical Intel core i-processor.

Also, SonicMaster technology (co-developed with Bang & Olufsen ICEpower) ensures the best audio quality. This 14-inch notebook weighs 2.4kg (with 6-cell battery) and comes with Jay’s handpicked songs (already preinstalled on the notebook).

About two months ago, Jonney Shih, chairman of ASUSTek Computer Inc. presented the ASUS Limited Edition Increadible J, N-series notebook by being a conductor of an orchestra of thirty ASUS notebooks (watch the official video, uploaded by AsusDesignCenter).
