Frontier launches its latest 15.6-inch ND series BTO notebook with Full HD display

In Japan, FRONTIER launched its latest 15.6-inch ND series BTO notebook with a high-quality Full HD (1080p) LCD display.

 

 

A few days ago, FRONTIER launched its new ND series customizable notebook (BTO) with a 15.6-inch (1920 × 1080) high-resolution Full HD LCD display (16:9).

The Frontier ND series notebook has a stylish design with a curved lines pattern, and comes in Shiny Black color. It is powered by an Intel Core i3, i5, i7 (2.2GHz – i3-2330M, 2.4GHz – i5-2430M, 2.5GHz – i5-2520M, 2.6GHz – i5-2540M, 2.8GHz – i7-2640M) Sandy Bridge processors.

 

 

The notebook is also equipped with mobile Intel HM65 Express Chipset, up to 8GB DDR3 of PC3-10600 memory, a choice of 320GB/ 500GB/ 750GB/ 1TB or Intel 320 Series 80GB SSD/ Intel 510 Series 120GB SSD drive and DVD Super Multi drive or a Blu-ray disc drive.

 

 

The ND series connectivity include WLAN IEEE802.11b/g/n, USB 2.0 ports, a webcam, RJ-45 port, headphones, microphone input and a card reader (up to 32GB). It has a full size island-style keyboard with a numeric keypad.

 

 

 

The notebook comes with a choice of Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Professional and Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, as well as 32-bit. Also, customers can purchase a set of recovery disks, when placing their order.

 

 

The new ND series customizable notebook (BTO) is available online through Frontier’s website with 6 ready-to-go configurations (FRNDSIHDX5/D, FRNDSIHDXB5/D, FRNDSIHDB5/D, FRNDSIHDA5/D, FRNDVIHDA5/D, FRNDVIHDB5/D) with prices starting from ¥56,800 Yen ($747 USD) – for the FRNDVIHDA5/D model.
