Lenovo postpones the launch of its 7-inch IdeaPad Tablet A1 in Japan

Less than an hour ago, Lenovo announced that will postpone the launch of its 7-inch IdeaPad Tablet A1 for the Japanese market.

 

 

On October 13th, Lenovo (Tokyo) announced that its 7-inch IdeaPad Tablet A1 will be available in Japan from October 28th, but today – due to significantly higher market demand – the IdeaPad tablet launch date was moved (by Lenovo) to November 9th, 2011. 

 

 

 

Lenovo’s IdeaPad Tablet A1 comes loaded with Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread. 

The IdeaPad Tablet A1 offers a 7-inch (1024×600) Wide HD LCD, multi-touch glossy display powered by 1GHz TI OMAP 3622 (Texas Instruments) processor. Also, 512MB of LPDDR2 memory, 2GB/ 16GB of storage space, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1, two cameras (0.3MP – front and 3MP – rear), micro USB and a micro SD card reader.

 

 

 

The IdeaPad Tablet A1 comes in four colors – Carbon Black (22283EJ), Pearl White (22283DJ), Hot Pink (22283GJ) and Cobalt Blue (22283FJ) – the 16GB model and Carbon Black – the 2GB model (22283CJ), and weighs around 400g. It can be productive up to 7.2 hours on a single charge.
