Frontier launches its low-cost 15.6-inch NX series notebook in Japan

Two days ago, Frontier launched its low-cost 15.6-inch NX series notebook in Japan.

 

 

 

 

Frontier offers a few ready-to-go configurations of the NX series customizable (BTO) notebooks. Those notebook models come with a 15.6-inch (1366×768) LED backlit LCD display (16:9), powered by a second generation Intel Pentium/ Core i3/ i5 (Sandy Bridge) processor.

Under the hood of the NX series there is a 320GB/ 500GB/ 750GB hard drive and 2GB/ 4GB of DDR3 PC3-10600 memory. The notebook models are also equipped with Intel HD Graphics 3000 graphic chip, mobile Intel HM65 Express Chipset, DVD drive, USB 2.0, HDMI, RJ-45, Headphone, mic jack and a card reader.

 

 

 

 

In power-off mode, The NX series notebook can also charge USB devices, when the USB charging function button is turned on (on top of the keyboard). The ready-configured NX series models come loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) and Office Home and Business 2010 (on some models – B5/D).

Frontier’s ready-to-go configurations of the NX series customizable (BTO) notebook (FRNXLIHDA5/D, FRNXLIHDB5/D, FRNXVIHDA5/D, FRNXVIHDB5/D, FRNXSIHDA5/D, FRNXSIHDB5/D), are available with prices ranging from ¥44,800 Yen ($590 USD) and up to ¥79,800 Yen ($1053 USD).
