Acer releases its new 10.1-inch Acer ICONIA TAB A200 tablet
Yesterday, Acer released officially its new 10.1-inch Acer ICONIA TAB A200 tablet.
The A200 tablet is comes in two colors – Titanium Gray or Metallic Red. It is powered by a 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 Dual Core A9 processor, 1GB of memory and 8 GB/ 16 GB eMMC storage, which can expand up to an additional 32GB via the micro SD card reader.
The ICONIA TAB A200 tablet is equipped with a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800) WXGA capacitive multitouch LCD display and its connectivity include Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR, GPS, a 2MP front camera, a micro USB (client) and a Full Size USB 2.0 port (host).
The device runs on Android 3.2 Honeycomb and an update to Android 4.0 (ICS) will be available later (in January 2012). The tablet weighs 720g with its Lithium-Polymer 3260 mAh battery, and can stay productive up to 8 hours on a single charge.
The ICONIA TAB A200 comes with Acer Ring UI, which improves multitasking and assists in setting easy-access apps from any screen. It also features Screenshot – a screen capture app.

Acer already started shipment of the ICONIA TAB A200 loaded with Android 3.2, and from January 2012, the tablet will be shipped worldwide pre-loaded with Android Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS).
