Samsung announced that will release 4G WiBro (WiMAX) embedded Notebooks and tablets.

Today, Samsung, KT (formerly Korea Telecom) and Intel together announced that will release 4G Wibro (WiMAX) capable notebooks after closely working together for nearly a year.

39 Samsung devices in 5 types are scheduled to be inbuilt with high-speed 4G Wibro, including the Series 7 Slate PC, the Series 3 300V, Series 3 300E, the Ultraslim notebook 350U and high performance notebook RC530. KT is now providing the national 4G Wibro service in 82 cities in South Korea.

Samsung’s 4G Wibro capable notebooks will be available in South Korea, starting from 27^th, December, 2011 (tomorrow). Consumers who purchase KT 4G WiBro integrated notebook from Samsung and sign a one year data contract, will also get data benefits.
