Sony updates its C,E,S,Z series Vaio notebooks for Spring 2012

Yesterday, Sony updated its Z, S, E and C series Vaio notebooks for Spring 2012, with new processors and colors.

 

C series - Kaleidoscope Pink

 

Now, Sony offers its Z series Vaio notebooks with Intel’s latest second-gen Core i7/ i5 processors and RAID 0 SSDs. In addition the Z series get a new Carbon Fiber Silver option and optional LTE (4G) support. The updated notebook is  available with prices starting at $1949.99 USD, and in that amount the company includes also the Power Media Dock drive.

 

Z series - Carbon Fiber Silver

 

The Vaio S series, both 13-inch and 15-inch models get updated with up to Intel Core i7 processor and a choice of AMD Radeon HD 6470M (512MB VRAM) or AMD Radeon HD 6630M (1GB VRAM) Hybrid Graphics. The 15-incher now will be offered by default with a 15.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS display and prices starting at $979.99 USD, while the 13-inch model’s price starts at $799.99 USD. Both models will be available in early February, this year.

 

C series - Geometric Black

 

The E series gets a new processor treatment – the latest second-generation Intel Core processors, and the Vaio C series are now available in new designs and colors.
