FIC presented Elija 9.7-inch Android tablet at Computex

Resently FIC presented Elija 9.7-inch 4G-enabled and slim profile design Android Tablet at Computex, along with some other new Semi-Rugged tablets and the Tycoon+ TVB01.

FIC’s new tablet Elija is equipped with a 9.7-inch IPS capacitive multi-touch screen and powered by the i.MX53 processor from Freescale. Running on the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), the Elija delivers desirable, exquisite and mobile.

MSI WindPad Tablet Series at Computex 2011

Recently MSI showed its WindPad Tablet Series at Computex 2011.

World-class designer Jeremy Scott collaboration with MSI, takes him into new high-tech territory to design the world’s coolest, most stylish tablet computer. The fruits of Scott and MSI’s labor were being shown at Computex 2011.

MSI went the extra mile to provide its WindPads with sophisticated looks, sheathing them in color film, which gives them an extra touch of class and safeguards them from scratching and wear.

The WindPad 110W comes with the new AMD Brazos processing platform and Windows 7, while the WindPad 100A is powered with an ARM Cortex-A9 architecture processor and the latest Google Android OS.

TESO Tablet Zpad Z10 and Tpad T10 announced at COMPUTEX

TESO EPC CO. LTD. launched its latest INTEL OakTrail Z670 products – Zpad Z10 and Tpad T10 at Taipei International Computer Show. The company also exhibited its Tablet PC line of products – Gpad G97, Lpad L10 and Teso P10 with INTEL Atom N455 CPU.

Both devices have 10.1-inch capacitive touch screen and built-in GPS navigation.  They supports 1080P high definition video. The machines run dual system – WINDOWS 7 and Android 3.0 (upgradable to Android 3.1) and can also be pre-installed with MeeGo. The  TESO T10 has the ultra-thin design and thickness almost equal to IPAD.  This is a rare quality of the X86 Tablet, which officially will began to ship in mid June this year.  Read the rest of this entry »

Acer triumphs with six Computex Taipei design & innovation awards

Acer has a total of six winning entries at this year’s Computex Taipei design and innovation awards, organized by iF design. Among the winners are the ICONIA TAB A501 tablet, ICONIA dual-screen touch notebook and Aspire Ethos 8951G notebook.

Computex Taipei design & innovation awards, organized in cooperation with world-leading industrial design institution iF Design, honor products that stand out through excellent design. Computex 2011 annual technology expo

Computex 2011 – the annual technology expo in Taipei, Taiwan—is one of the top three IT events in the world and is held from May 31 to June 5. It attracted over 1800 exhibitors who share over 5200 booths between them, split between three halls in the Xinyi district of Taipei and the exhibition hall in the Nangang district.  Attendees of COMPUTEX 2011 have an unprecedented opportunity to hear from industry visionaries and see public technology demonstrations.

MSI is also showing the latest stylish notebooks from the C-series and the new  G-Series machines aimed at the mobile gamers and variety of tablet models including its new generation WindPad Series tablet. The G Series 17.3-inch GT780 and 15.6-inch GT683R gaming laptops shown at Computex 2011 feature Intel’s second gen Core i7 quad core processor, nVidia’s new generation top end discrete graphics card, and MSI’s own TDE overclocking technology.  MSI will be parading its impressive R&D capabilities as it displays four major laptop series.
