Asus announced additional Spring 2012 notebook and netbook models for the Japanese market.
The additional Asus models for Spring 2012 include – the 11.6-inch Asus Hot Pink Zenbook UX21E, the 17.3-inch K73SD notebook, Eee PC 1025C/ Eee PC 1025CE (the Flare Series), Eee PC 1225B, and the low-cost Eee PC X101CH netbook model.
Yesterday, ASUS announced its Spring 2012 notebook models for the Japanese market.
The Asus ZENBOOK UX21E Rose Gold (UX21E-KXROSE) is powered by Intel Core i5-2467M processor, 4GB of memory and 128GB SSD. The 11.6-inch ultrabook is loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS. It weighs 1.1kg and offers up to five and a half hours of battery life. The Rose Gold Ultrabook comes with a price of ¥94,800 Yen ($1236 USD).
Asus released its latest 12.5-inch B23E business oriented notebook.
The Asus B23E business notebook (ASUSPRO B Series) is equipped with Intel’s latest Core i3 /i5 / i7 Sandy Bridge processors ( i7-2640M, i5-2540M, i5-2450M, i3-2350M, i3-2330M), Intel QM67 Express Chipset and integrated Intel HD Graphics 3000. It comes with a 12.5-inch HD (1366×768) LED backlit anti-glare display with 16:9 aspect ratio.
Asus released its N45J Mystic Edition notebook, especially designed by Jay Chou.
ASUS N45J (J for Jay) notebook is the new special edition N Series, and the second notebook designed in collaboration between ASUS and actor (The Green Hornet), singer and songwriter Jay Chou.
The N45J Mystic Edition is an upgraded version of the previous limited edition N43 notebook and is called “Mystic Edition” due to the connection of Jay Chou‘s new Exclamation Point album. The display lid is covered with art from the album, plus the singer’s signature. The notebook comes with SonicMaster technology co-developed with Bang & Olufsen ICEpower, and is bundled with an external subwoofer (just like the N43).

Yesterday, Asus uploaded a photo of its upcoming notebook which is again designed by the famous Asian singer, actor, and star of “The Green Hornet” movie – Jay Chou (as Kato). This is the second notebook designed for Asus, and inspired by the Asian Pop Superstar (after the “Incredible J” notebook). Hopefully Asus will make it official at CES in Las Vegas, next year.
ASUS U53SD Bamboo Series notebook got a Green certificate.
Yesterday, ASUS announced that its U53SD Bamboo Series notebook received Carbon Neutrality certification. ASUS became the first to deliver a notebook that achieves net zero carbon gas emissions throughout its life cycle. The U53SD Bamboo notebook meets all requirements of the PAS 2060:2010 (Standard for Carbon Neutrality).
Asus gathered together energy-saving hardware and software – its Super Hybrid Engine technology which lowers the energy consumption by up to 20%. And, with the light bamboo parts used in the notebook chassis and designed of 100% natural and recyclable bamboo paper and non-woven cloth, Asus managed to reduce the U53SD’s carbon footprint by up to 10%.
A few days ago, Asus and Intel introduced (with Jason Mraz) the Asus’s N-Series notebook in Russia.
Asus’s N Series notebook has a modern design, thanks to the collaboration of Asus with the well-known designer David Lewis. Also, ASUS’s SonicMaster Audio – a set of hardware and software is enhancing the sound quality, along with the specialists from Bang & Olufsen, ICEpower (one of the leading manufacturers of audio equipment in the world). The Asus N series are designed specifically for music fans who, even on the road do not want to part with the music.
