ASUS announces its Spring 2012 notebooks models for Japan

Yesterday, ASUS announced its Spring 2012 notebook models for the Japanese market.

The Asus ZENBOOK UX21E Rose Gold (UX21E-KXROSE) is powered by Intel Core i5-2467M processor, 4GB of memory and 128GB SSD. The 11.6-inch ultrabook is loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS. It weighs 1.1kg and offers up to five and a half hours of battery life. The Rose Gold Ultrabook comes with a price of ¥94,800 Yen ($1236 USD).

ASUS Japan apologized about memory size of K53E-SX2410 laptop

Yesterday, ASUS Japan updated their site with a “Notice of apology” about the memory size of K53E-SX2410 brown laptop from the ASUS’s new Summer 2011 laptop models (for the Japanese market).

K53E-SX2410 was announced to ship with one memory module of 4GB (in one slot), earlier this year, but some machines were sold with 2x2GB instead.

Asus states, that will replace those customer’s memory with one module of 4GB (free). And, if those clients wish to expand the laptop’s RAM to 8GB, Asus will offer them a special price.

Asus announced its new Summer 2011 laptop models for Japan

One day ago, Asus announced its new Summer 2011 laptop models for the Japanese market.


The nine new laptops are:

  • Seven variations of K53E, which come in seven different colors and hardware configurations, packed with Intel’s second gen Sandy Bridge processors.
  • The G73SW is a gamers and entertainment notebook with the ROG logo (Republic of Gamers).
  • Hear the beat of sensibility with the NX90SN – a result of Asus and Bang & Olufsen collaboration.
