Eurocom launches 17.3-inch full HD Panther 4.0 super-notebook
Yesterday, Eurocom launched its 17.3-inch full HD Panther 4.0 super-notebook.

Panther 4.0 is the world’s most powerful Super-Notebook. It has a 17.3-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) display (a choice of matte, glossy or 3D). The machine is equipped with Intel X79 Sandy Bridge-E Core Logic and a desktop Intel Core i7-3960X (6 cores/12 threads – 3.9 GHz with 15MB of L3 cache) Extreme edition processor with 130W TDP, using LGA2011 socket (Intel Xeon processors supported too).

Yesterday, Eurocom announced (again) that its Leopard 2.0 notebook supports dual GPU technology from NVIDIA, and AMD too.
The Leopard 2.0 is offered (and can be upgraded) with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M, AMD Radeon HD6990M and HD 6970M GPUs, which can be configured to work in single/ SLI or single/ Crossfire mode.

Yesterday, Eurocom unveiled its 18.4-inch Leopard 2.0 notebook with Dual GPU support.

Eurocom now offers its Leopard 2.0 fully upgradeable notebook with SLI or Crossfire GPU configuration. The machine has an 18.4-inch (1920×1080) Full HD LCD display with Auto Light Sensor technology (a smart auto brightness control – adjusts depending on the environment). It is powered by an Intel Core i7/ Core i7 Extreme (up to i7-2960XM) Sandy Bridge processor, up to 24GB of DDR3-1600 memory and 4TB of storage (4 physical drives when the ODD is removed).

Eurocom announced seven new HD+ and Full HD, Matte and Glossy Display choices for its fully upgradable Notebooks.

Users who plan to enhance their viewing experience by purchasing and configuring Eurocom’s fully upgradable Notebooks, Mobile Workstations and Mobile Server can now choose from two NTSC 15.6-inchers and five 17.3-inch displays.
Eurocom’s seven LCD Display options of 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch Matte and Glossy Display choices or upgrades are up to 95% NTSC and are manufactured by LG, AU Optronics (AUO) and HannStar. Eurocom also offers 3D display panels along with NVIDIA 3D Vision Kit for an immersive 3D experience in games and movies

Eurocom offers its Panther 3.0 Notebook with 4TB storage capacity
Eurocom is offering its Panther 3.0 Notebook with 4TB in RAID 0/1/5/10 – configured with 4 x 1TB WD Scorpio Blue 2.5-inch HDD.

The WD Scorpio Blue 1TB drive uses advanced power management features and algorithms to optimize the way the drive seeks for data, which improves power consumption and increases battery life. Western Digital uses exclusive WhisperDrive technology to create one of the quietest 2.5-inch drives available.
In a Mobile Server, reliability is a must – Western Digital, also uses SecurePark technology to hold the recording heads away from the disk surface during spin up, spin down and when the drive is off. This guarantees that the head never touches the disk surface resulting in improved reliability due to less head wear and improved nonoperational shock tolerance.

Eurocom Corporation, a developer of fully upgradeable notebooks has completed a round of benchmarking results in their flagship Panther 2.0 system using AMD’s newest Radeon HD 6990M GPU. In the round of testing the EUROCOM Panther 2.0 platform was tested with one HD 6990M GPU, two HD 6990M in CrossFireX, one HD 6990M (Overclocked) and two HD 6990M in CrossFireX (overclocked).
