HP Pavilion DV5-1020EV fan problem

Today we will show you some internal pictures of HP Pavilion DV5-1020EV, which was for repair at Laptoport workshop. Its fan was not spinning at all. This computer was shutting down and we opened it to check it out. 

We knew from the user, that before the fan stop it was making a loud noise. Sometimes this is a good signal – the fan might need to be changed or serviced. On the outside the air vents did not look dirty. There were a few possibilities – burned fan, motherboard fault or hopefully a blockage. Keeping in mind that this was an Intel version of the DV5 series, which usually does not get as hot as the AMD one, we were wondering which one is it.
