Recently, we had a Toshiba Satellite L500-1D9 with an interesting problem. The notebook was not charging and switching on, due to a problematic power jack. Its center pin was pushed back inside the notebook, therefore it was not making contact at all.

Toshiba Satellite A210-15K super dirty, broken power socket

Disassembling of Toshiba Satellite A210-15K, which was in Laptoport workshop for clean-up and power socket repair.

The 15.4-inch laptop was shutting down, due to overheating. It has 1.9GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-58 CPU and ATI Radeon X1200 graphic card .In the gallery above, you can check -15 images taken through the cleaning. Plastic holding the machine’s power socket were broken internally.
