NTT Docomo announces Medias Tab N-06D-a 7-inch Android tablet

NTT Docomo announced (in Japan) its Medias Tab N-06D – a 7-inch Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) tablet.

 

 

 

The Docomo MEDIAS TAB N-06D tablet comes in Silver (manufactured by NEC CASIO Mobile Communications), and is the first tablet compatible with V-High multimedia broadcasting service in Japan. Users will be able to watch mmbi’s Inc.’s “NOTTV,” (at 30fps, 720 × 480 in real-time – for a basic-service fee of 420 Yen – $5 USD per month) a mobile multimedia broadcasting station that will start operating on April 1st, 2012. The company is offering a choice of 3 tablets (Huawei MediaPad 3G, a Motorola Xoom or a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1N) with a SIM card, up to 14.4Mbps mobile broadband internet speeds and 100GB of storage space for 39.99 Euro per month ($52 USD), plus an activation fee of 29.90 Euro ($39 USD).

Sprint offers ZTE Optik-its first tablet under $100 in the US

Sprint offers in the States its first tablet under $100 – the ZTE Optik.

 

 

Sprint’s 3G tablet – ZTE Optik runs Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) and comes with a 7-inch WXGA (1280 x 800) touchscreen display. The tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm (MSM8660) Snapdragon processor, 1GB of memory and 16GB of storage, which can be expanded up to additional 32GB via the microSD card slot.

Motorola launches its 10.1-inch Motorola XOOM 2 tablet in Italy

Yesterday, Motorola launched its 10.1-inch Motorola XOOM 2 tablet in Italy.

 

 

The Motorola XOOM 2 tablet comes with 10.1-inch widescreen HD display and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass (for scratch resistance) and a splashguard coating (water resistance). The tablet runs Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor.

Velocity Micro shows its upcoming Cruz Tablets ahead of CES

Velocity Micro shows its upcoming Cruz Tablet T507 and T510, ahead of CES 2012.

 

 

Velocity Micro (VM) uploaded a product page of its devices, with which the company will present itself at CES, this year. Two of them are the Cruz Tablet T507 – coming with a 7-inch (wide) capacitive Touch Screen, and Cruz Tablet T510 – with a 9.7-inch (4:3) capacitive screen and a chassis with 8.9mm thickness.

Motorola brings its 3G and WiFi Xoom 2 and XOOM 2 Media Edition tablet in Germany.

 

 

Yesterday, Motorola presented its new XOOM 2 and XOOM 2 Media Edition tablets to the German market.

Both tablets come with Android 3.2 (Honeycomb), 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and brilliant displays protected with Corning Gorilla Glass, splashguard nano coating and special flattened edges for easier holding.

ARCHOS unveiled its ARCHOS 70b-low cost 7-inch internet tablet

ARCHOS unveiled its ARCHOS 70b – a low-cost 7-inch Android 3.2 tablet.

 

 

Two days ago, ARCHOS announced the prices and availability of its low-cost Android 3.2 Honeycomb internet tablet. 

The ARCHOS 70b tablet comes with a 7-inch (1024 x 600) capacitive multi-touch screen, which is powered by a 1.2GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, 3D graphics, 512MB memory and 32GB of storage space (expandable to additional 32GB via the micro SD card reader). The tablet has a front facing camera, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1 and includes plenty of apps – Google Calendar, Google Maps, Google Talk, video chat, YouTube and access to the Android Market. It also offers a mini HDMI port through which the user can connect a monitor or a TV.
