ASUS announced its 10.1-inch Eee Pad Transformer Prime – Android device.

 

 

The Prime finally came.

The Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime is the world’s first tablet to feature the world’s first quad-core mobile chip – the NVIDIA Tegra 3 Kal-El processor (with 5th companion core). The advanced power management features of the Tegra 3, allows the Transformer Prime to be productive up to 12 hours and when combined with the mobile dock up to 18 hours.

The Transformer Prime comes with a stylish metallic swirl design in two colors – Amethyst Gray and Champagne Gold. It has a 10.1-inch (1280×800) Super IPS+ multi-touch (10 finger support) display with 178° wide viewing angle, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and the new ASUS technology, which enhances the brightness of the screen for a better outdoor reading.

ASUS launches its Eee Pad Slider in Portugal

Two days ago, ASUS announced the launch of its Eee Pad Slider in Portugal.

Asus will offer its 32GB model of its Eee Pad Slider for the Portuguese market. The Slider device is available in Pearl White or Metallic Brown, has a sliding keyboard and is loaded with Google’s Android 3.2 Honeycomb. 

We all know that the Slider device is powered by NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor and 1GB LPDDR2 memory. It also comes with a 10.1-inch IPS (16:10) display (with a viewing angle of 178 °) scratch protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, two cameras (1.2MP front and 5MP rear), integrated USB port, micro SD and a mini HDMI port.

Asus announces the launch of its 10.1-inch Eee Pad Slider SL101 for Japan

Today, Asus announced the launch of its 10.1-inch Eee Pad Slider SL101 for the Japanese market.

The ultralight Eee Pad Slider SL101 tablet comes in white. It is 18.3mm thin and weighs about 960g. The Slider’s 10.1-inch wide multi-touch IPS LCD screen (with scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass) is powered by NVIDIA Tegra processor, 32GB of storage space and 1GB LPDDR2 memory. The device runs Android 3.1 Honeycomb (upgradeable to 3.2), and supports Adobe Flash (can be downloaded from Android Market).

ASUS announces the release of its 16GB Eee Pad Transformer TF101 tablet in Japan

One day ago, ASUS announced the release of its 16GB Eee Pad Transformer TF101-1B240A tablet in Japan (two months after the launch of its 32GB version of Eee Pad Transformer TF101 for the Japanese market).

The Eee Pad Transformer TF101 (Model: TF101-1B240A) comes with Android 3.1 (Honeycomb), NVIDIA Tegra 2 mobile processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB (eMMC) flash storage. The battery provides up-to about 9.5 hours of use on a single charge and with a connected docking keyboard (will be released separately), can extend to a maximum of about 16 hours. The tablet has an ultralight body which weighs about 680g.
