Asus announced additional Spring 2012 notebook and netbook models for the Japanese market.

The additional Asus models for Spring 2012 include – the 11.6-inch Asus Hot Pink Zenbook UX21E, the 17.3-inch K73SD notebook, Eee PC 1025C/ Eee PC 1025CE (the Flare Series), Eee PC 1225B, and the low-cost Eee PC X101CH netbook model.
Lenovo announces its portfolio of SMB notebooks
Yesterday, Lenovo announced its portfolio of SMB notebooks.

The portfolio includes the premium ThinkPad Edge S Series, the mainstream ThinkPad Edge E Series and entry-level Lenovo B Series, available in select markets.
The ThinkPad Edge S430 notebook is equipped with the latest Intel Core processors and Thunderbolt Technology. The 14-inch notebook comes in Mocha Black, measures less than one-inch thin and has metal accents. It has a DVD burner or a second hard drive (up to 1 TB of storage), choices of Intel integrated or NVIDIA Optimus graphics, Dolby Home Theatre v4 and USB 3.0 ports. The notebook also comes with Lenovo Solution Center powered by Intel Small Business Advantage (a set of productivity and security tools).

Yesterday, Techinstyle posted a teaser photo displaying a keyboard of a new and unknown device, which Asus will be unveiling at CES, along with a riddle:

ASUS announces its 11.6-inch Eee PC 1225B AMD powered netbook
ASUS quietly announced its 11.6-inch Eee PC 1225B – AMD powered netbook.

It seems that Asus is not going to abandon its Eee PC category soon, and that got confirmed when the company uploaded a product page of its updated Eee PC 1225B AMD based netbook model.
This 11.6-incher is powered by the latest AMD Brazos dual core APUs – AMD Fusion APU E450 running at 1.65GHz or C60 at 1.0GHz and up to 1.33GHz under AMD Turbo Core Tech. In addition the machine comes with AMD Radeon HD 6320/ AMD Radeon HD 6290, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory (from which 2GB is onboard) and up to 750GB hard drive.

Two days ago, GIGABYTE uploaded an official unboxing video of its latest BookTop T1132, a 3-in-1 device that transforms into a notebook, a tablet and a desktop PC.
The BookTop T1132 is powered by an Intel Core i5 processor. It has an 11.6-inch (1366 x 768) capacitive multi-touch display (180-degree rotable screen), Nvidia GeForce graphics, up to 4GB of memory, and up to 750GB hard drive.
Lenovo announces its ThinkPad X130e-the last new Lenovo product of 2011
Today, Lenovo announced its ThinkPad X130e notebook, or as posted on Lenovo’s facebook page (ten hours ago) – “the last new Lenovo product of 2011”.

Lenovo just published officially (before a few hours) the press release for its new 11.6-inch ruggedized mini notebook, offered with choices of the latest Intel or AMD processors.
The ThinkPad X130e is aimed for students and kids, with its reinforced and extra durable top cover, keyboard and hinges. The machine is offered – customizable, with options including asset tags, BIOS modifications, custom imaging and a broad selection of custom colors.
Gigabyte officially announces its Booktop T1132 Giveaway
Gigabyte officially announced its “Booktop T1132 Amazing Giveaway”, starting from November 28th, 2011.

The Booktop T1132 (a successor of T1125) is the world’s first 3-in-1 computer that transforms into a notebook, a tablet and a desktop PC through its docking station.
The device has an 11.6-inch (1366×768) capacitive multi-touch display, powered by second generation Intel Core i5 processor, Nvidia GeForce graphics, up to 4GB of memory, and up to 750GB HDD.
Gigabyte will even give away a second unit, if the GIGABYTE Notebook Facebook page exceeds 6000 fans as of the final day of the contest on December 20, 2011.
