Recently, Winmate Communication INC. launched eight new rugged tablets with Cedar Trail processor.

The rugged tablets ID80 and ID83 Series are based on Intel’s latest Atom dual-core processor, N2600 (1.6GHz) and come with a passive cooling heat sink design (fanless), with temperatures ranging from -20°C to 55°C (depending on the model).

The Eee Slate is equipped with TPM v1.2 security chip by TCG (Trusted Computing Group), for enhanced encryption and more secured work environment. It has a 12.1-inch high-end FFS display (Fringe Field Switching) with wide viewing angle of 178 °, electromagnetic induction system, capacitive multi-touch and Wacom Feel IT Technology – Electro Magnetic Resonance Technology (EMR) supporting pen input operations.

Panasonic announced its 12.1-inch TOUGHBOOK S10 business-rugged notebook.
