Recently a Sony Vaio M Series netbook was brought to us, with a damaged power jack. Its center pin’s plastic was broken – the machine was charging from time to time, due to a bad contact with the adapter.
ASUS launches its Eee Pad Slider in Portugal
Two days ago, ASUS announced the launch of its Eee Pad Slider in Portugal.
Asus will offer its 32GB model of its Eee Pad Slider for the Portuguese market. The Slider device is available in Pearl White or Metallic Brown, has a sliding keyboard and is loaded with Google’s Android 3.2 Honeycomb.
We all know that the Slider device is powered by NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor and 1GB LPDDR2 memory. It also comes with a 10.1-inch IPS (16:10) display (with a viewing angle of 178 °) scratch protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, two cameras (1.2MP front and 5MP rear), integrated USB port, micro SD and a mini HDMI port.

Toshiba Europe unveiled its new ultra-thin, ultra-light 10.1-inch AT200 Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet.

The Toshiba AT200 is a 10.1-inch tablet – just 7.7mm thin and weighing approximately 558g. It is highly mobile, extremely smart and powerful device loaded with Android 3.2 Honeycomb.
The Toshiba AT200 comes with all essential interfaces and ports onboard, amongst which a micro-USB, micro-SD, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The micro HDMI port allows streaming HD content to a TV or monitor. Its front and back HD cameras are ideal for video conferencing and perfect for taking photos.

Camangi is going to introduce another two-“Third Generation tablets” -The Baobob Series.

We were informed (unofficial info-leak) that Camangi is planning to launch another two Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablets called Baobob 7 (7-inch) and Baobob 10 (10.1-inch) with WiFi and 3G (optional). The tablets will be powered by 1GHz (Dual Core) Nvidia tegra 2 (T20) Cortex A9 processor, 1GB of DDR2 (400MHz) memory and 8GB/16GB/32GB eMMC NAND Flash internal storage. The 7-inch (16:10) and 10.1-inch (16:10) capacitive multi-touch (10-finger) LCDs will have resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and Gesture support.
The Baobob 7 will come with a 4000 mAh Li-Polymer battery, weighing just 355g and will hold on a single charge approximately for 7 hours. While the Baobob 10 will be with a 6700 mAh Li-Polymer battery and will weigh about 650g (30g less than Asus’s Eee Pad Transformer TF101).

A day ago, ASUS launched its 10.1-inch Eee Pad Slider – Android tablet with Full QWERTY keyboard.

The Eee Pad Slider comes in either pearl white or metallic brown. It features a slide-out keyboard, Google Android 3.1 Honeycomb OS (upgradable to Android 3.2) and is powered by the NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core CPU. It has a 10.1-inch (16:10) IPS 10-finger multi-touch display panel (with an ultrawide 178° viewing angle), protected by a layer of scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass. On top of that, the front-facing 1.2MP camera and back-facing 5MP camera gives users videoconferencing capabilities as well as the ability to take pictures. It also comes with a built-in 16/32GB eMMC slot, USB port, Micro SD card reader, and mini-HDMI port.

The REGZA AT300 (PA300224CNAS) tablet comes with a 10.1-inch (1280 × 800) high resolution WXGA TFT LED (16:10) backlit multi-touch display. The LCD’s Adaptive Display - ambient light sensor detects the environment and automatically adjusts picture’s sharpness and brightness, to improve the readability even in the sun.
