Samsung launched its 11.6-inch Series 7 Slate PC in Seoul, South Korea.

Yesterday, Samsung held a media day in celebration of its official launch of the series 7 Slate PC, in South Korea. The Series 7 Slate PC was promised to be launched in South Korea- today (November 9th, 2011) and Samsung kept its promise.  

The Slate PC is offering all of the features of a full-sized laptop in an extremely portable package. It comes with an 11.6-inch (1366×768) Samsung-exclusive SuperBright Plus capacitive touch HD display, which is viewable even in bright sunlight and has a 170-degree viewing angle (400nit). The slate also has a powerful Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of DDR3 memory, up to 128 GB solid state drive, and is loaded with Windows 7 Professional.

Samsung announced its 11.6-inch Windows 7 tablet – the Series 7 Slate PC at IFA (Berlin).

The Series 7 Slate PC is functional, slim, lightweight and with a compact form factor. Weighing less than two pounds and just half an inch thick, the Series 7 Slate can be taken anywhere. The tablet comes with an 11.6-inch screen, powerful Intel Core i5-2467M processor, up to 128GB SSD storage and Windows 7 Home Premium or Windows 7 Professional.
