Sony announces launch dates for Sony Tablet S and Sony Tablet P

Sony announced the launch dates for Sony Tablet S and Sony Tablet P (previously known as – Sony Tablet S1 and Sony Tablet S2).

The first two Sony Tablet models combine unique hardware, content and network services with seamless usability to create an exciting new world of network entertainment experiences. Both tablets were announced at the end of April, this year with Android 3.0 and now the WiFi models are equipped with Android 3.1 (upgradable to Android 3.2) and the Wi-Fi/3G models are equipped with Android 3.2.

Fusion Garage starts taking preorders for its 10.1-inch Grid10 Android based tablet

Fusion Garage started taking preorders (for U.S. only) for its 10.1-inch Grid10 Android based tablet.

The Singapore based company Fusion Garage (formerly known as one of the companies behind the JooJoo Linux-tablet) came with a new Android-based Grid10 tablet with custom UI called – Grid OS. 

Under the hood, the Grid10 has a 1.2GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 Dual Core CPU, 512Mb of memory and 16GB of storage space. It also comes with a 10.1-inch TFT capacitive touch screen, a 1.3MP webcam, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and 3G (optional). It has a 5,800mAh battery and weighs 690g (10g more than the Eee Pad Transformer TF101 – TF101-1B240A).

Camangi is going to introduce another two-Third Generation Tablets-The Baobob Series

Camangi is going to introduce another two-“Third Generation tablets” -The Baobob Series.

We were informed (unofficial info-leak) that Camangi is planning to launch another two Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablets called Baobob 7 (7-inch) and Baobob 10 (10.1-inch) with WiFi and 3G (optional). The tablets will be powered by 1GHz (Dual Core) Nvidia tegra 2 (T20) Cortex A9 processor, 1GB of DDR2 (400MHz) memory and 8GB/16GB/32GB eMMC NAND Flash internal storage. The 7-inch (16:10) and 10.1-inch (16:10) capacitive multi-touch (10-finger) LCDs will have resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and Gesture support.

The Baobob 7 will come with a 4000 mAh Li-Polymer battery, weighing just 355g and will hold on a single charge approximately for 7 hours. While the Baobob 10 will be with a 6700 mAh Li-Polymer battery and will weigh about 650g (30g less than Asus’s Eee Pad Transformer TF101).
