Author: Lenovo starts taking preorders for its 14-inch IdeaPad Y470p notebook.
The IdeaPad Y470p (08552LU) Dusk Black notebook comes with Intel’s second generation 2.2GHz Core i7-2670QM processor, 8 GB of DDR3 (1333MHz) memory and a 750GB (5400rpm) hard drive. Its 14.0-inch HD (1366×768) Glare LED backlit display is powered by AMD Radeon HD 7690 (with 1GB VRAM).

Mouse Computer launched two new 15.6-inch notebooks-LB-T503B and LB-T503X, in Japan.
The two new LuvBook T-Series entries have 15.6-inch widescreen glossy LCD display powered by Nvidia GeForce GT540M (with Optimus). ASUS announces its 12.1-inch Eee PC 1215B in a new RED color for the Japanese market
ASUS announced its 12.1-inch Eee PC 1215B in a new RED color for the Japanese market, which will be available in mid-September, this year.
Asus added a new RED color to its The Eee PC 1215B netbook, in addition to the current black and silver products.
The ASUS Eee PC 1215B netbook is based on the AMD Brazos platform and features the new dual-core E-350 + AMD Radeon HD 6310 graphics Fusion APU. The Accelerated Processing Unit enables visually rich, enhanced PC experiences even on small form factor devices.
