MLW Telecom and Telkom Indonesia launched SpeedUp Pad Ice tablet in Indonesia.

Today, MIPS Technologies, Inc. announced that together with MLW Telecom and MIPS licensee Ingenic Semiconductor are introducing the SpeedUp Pad Ice – a MIPS-Based Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) tablet to the Indonesian market.

Kobian launched Mercury mTab2 7-inch low-cost tablet for the Indian market.

The Mercury mTab2 tablet weighs 365g and is “a faster, lighter and smarter device” than the Mercury mTab.
The mTab2 tablet runs on Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread and supports Adobe Flash 10.2. The tablet is powered by a 1GHz Cortex A8 dual-core processor, 512MB of DDR3 memory and 8GB of storage.

Lenovo unveiled its LePad S2005 tabletphone and LePad S2007 and S2010 tablets in Beijing, China.

Lenovo’s upcoming LePad S2005 tabletphone has been unveiled, along with two new Lenovo tablets in Beijing, China.
The LePad S2005 has a 5-inch (800×480) LTPS display powered by 1.2GHz Qualcomm dual-core processor and 1GB memory. The device has 2 cameras (1.3MP front and 5MP rear), micro HDMI, micro USB, and an HSPA+ modem. The device is 9.95mm thin and weighs 198g with its 1680mAh battery. It is loaded with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread.

NEC updated its LifeTouch line with a 7-inch LT-B Android tablet (Cloud Communicator) in Japan.

A few days ago, NEC (Japan) launched its LifeTouch B (LT-B) – a slim and stylish, new business oriented tablet with a variety of features, including battery switching (users can carry multiple backup batteries for long-time use while away from the office), business security functions and water resistance. The LT-B features a stylish new design with a flat casing that is 20% smaller than existing models (LT).
The NEC LT-B tablet comes with a 7-inch (800×480) WVGA glossy TFT display, powered by a high-speed power-saving 1GHz TI OMAP4430 dual-core processor, 4GB of storage and 512MB of memory. It is also equipped with a 5MP high-resolution auto-focus camera, WiFi IEEE802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth V3.0, 3000mAh (replaceable battery) and a card reader (up to 32GB).
NEC LifeTouch B is loaded with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, supports Adobe Flash content and weighs approximately 400g.

Ekoore announced availability of its new Iron Tablet PC-a low-cost Android Gingerbread 3G tablet.
The Ekoore Iron Tablet PC runs Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and is available with 7-inch or 8-inch capacitive multi-touch display. The Iron tablet is powered by a 1.2 GHz Cortex-A8 processor (TELECHIPS TCC8803), 512MB of DDR3 memory and 4 GB SSD, which can be expanded with additional 32GB, via its micro SD card reader.

The AndyPad model has a 1.2GHz Cortex-A8 processor, 512MB of RAM . The tablet comes with a 7-inch (800 x 480) display with resistive Resitouch-panel, 8GB of storage, a front facing camera and WiFi connectivity. Andy Pad 7-inch Android 2.3 Gingerbread tablet gets a short official promo video
Recently, Andy Pad 7-inch Android 2.3 Gingerbread tablet got a short official promo video.
The Andy Pad 7-inch tablet will launch together with its PRO version, which differ just a bit. The Andy Pad Pro has 16GB storage space (twice the size of the Andy Pad), two cameras (Andy Pad has one). Also, SensaTouch – capacitive touch screen with 1024 x 600 resolution (Andy Pad has resistive ResiTouch screen with 800 x 480), and a Bluetooth.
The pads will apper in 33 days in the UK, Andy Pad will be priced at $206 USD (£129 GBP), the Andy Pad Pro will have a price of $295 USD (£179 GBP).
