India gets ViewSonic’s ViewPad 10s tablet, running Android 2.2 (Froyo) for $350 USD.

 

 

The ViewPad 10s tablet has a 10.1-inch (1024 x 600) capacitive multi-touch LED backlit display (200nits). It is powered by 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 250 SMP dual Cortex-A9 processor, 512MB of DDR2 (667MHz) memory and 512MB NAND Flash storage.

Fujitsu launches its new 7-inch Stylistic M350 tablet in Japan

Today, Fujitsu launched its 7-inch Stylistic M350 tablet for the Japanese market.

 

 

Fujitsu’s M-series – Stylistic M350 tablet is powered by a 1GHz Freescale i.MX 535 (Cortex-A8) processor, 512MB DDR3 memory and 8GB of eMMC Flash storage. The device also has a 7-inch WSVGA (1024 x 600) Capacitive multi-touch display, two cameras (1.3MP front-facing and 5MP rear), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth V2.1, USB 2.0 ports, a miniHDMI port and a microSD card reader.

MSI intros its new 10.1-inch Wind U180 netbook with Cedar Trail

Today, MSI introduced its new 10.1-inch Wind U180 netbook with Cedar Trail CPU.

 

 

 

The MSI Wind U180 is equipped with Intel’s latest 32nm-based Atom (N2800/ N2600) dual-core processors (introduced in Q4, 2011), up to 2GB DDR3 (800MHz/ 1066MHz) memory and 320/ 250GB hard drive. The netbook has a 10.1-inch (1024 x 600) ultra slim LED backlit display, powered by Intel GMA 3650 graphics.

Pantech applies patents for its waterproof Pantech Element LTE

Pantech applies for patents for its waterproof Pantech Element P4100 (AT&T) LTE tablet.

 

 

 

Today, Pantech announced that has already completed a patent application in Korea, for its waterproof technology used in the Pantech Element P4100 (AT&T) LTE tablet.

The Pantech Element P4100 LTE (4G) runs Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) and comes with an 8-inch XGA (1024 x 768) TFT capacitive multi-touch display. It is powered by 1.5GHz APQ 8060 Qualcomm (S3) dual–core processor and 16GB of storage (which can be expanded up to 32GB via the microSD card slot). The tablet also has a SIM slot, two cameras (2MP front-facing and a rear 5MP with flash and 4x digital zoom), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR, micro USB and micro HDMI port.

ASUS announces its 11.6-inch Eee PC 1225B AMD powered netbook

ASUS quietly announced its 11.6-inch Eee PC 1225B – AMD powered netbook.

 

 

It seems that Asus is not going to abandon its Eee PC category soon, and that got confirmed when the company uploaded a product page of its updated Eee PC 1225B AMD based netbook model. 

This 11.6-incher is powered by the latest AMD Brazos dual core APUs – AMD Fusion APU E450 running at 1.65GHz or C60 at 1.0GHz and up to 1.33GHz under AMD Turbo Core Tech. In addition the machine comes with AMD Radeon HD 6320/ AMD Radeon HD 6290, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory (from which 2GB is onboard) and up to 750GB hard drive.

Samsung just uploaded a preview video of its Series 7 Slate PC, equipped with 11.6-inch (1366 x 768) display and running Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium/ Windows 7 Professional (64-bit). The slate is powered by 1.60GHz Intel Core i5-2467M dual core processor, Intel HD Graphics 3000, 4GB of DDR3 1333MHz memory and 64GB of SSD storage. It comes with 2 camera 2MP (front) and 3MP (rear), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, plenty of ports, docking station and a keyboard. The device weighs 2.06 lbs and can hold up to 7 hours on a single charge.

The Samsung Series 7 Slate PC will be launched in Seoul (South Korea) on November 9th, 2011.
