Toshiba announced the release date of its 10.1-inch REGZA Tablet AT700 in Japan.
The REGZA AT700 is the world’s thinnest and lightest tablet 10.1-inch tablet, measuring just 7.7mm thin and weighing only 558g. The REGZA AT700 is powered by a 1.2 GHz TI OMAP 4430 dual-core processor (Texas Instruments), 1GB memory and 32GB of storage. T-Mobile outs its SpringBoard and Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus 4G 7-inch tablets in the U.S.
Both devices are powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor, support 4G, come with a 7-inch display and are loaded with Android 3.2 Honeycomb (Adobe Flash supported). Two days ago, ASUS announced the launch of its Eee Pad Slider in Portugal.
Asus will offer its 32GB model of its Eee Pad Slider for the Portuguese market. The Slider device is available in Pearl White or Metallic Brown, has a sliding keyboard and is loaded with Google’s Android 3.2 Honeycomb.
We all know that the Slider device is powered by NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor and 1GB LPDDR2 memory. It also comes with a 10.1-inch IPS (16:10) display (with a viewing angle of 178 °) scratch protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, two cameras (1.2MP front and 5MP rear), integrated USB port, micro SD and a mini HDMI port.
A few days ago, Panasonic announced its 7-inch and 10.1-inch BizPad Android 3.2 Honeycomb rugged tablets for the Japanese market.
Both tablet models are aimed at business users and will be available only in Japan.
Panasonic’s BizPad 7 tablet (JT-H580VT) comes with a 7-inch (1024 × 600) WSVGA resistive touch LCD display and IC card reader/ writer – FeliCa supported (3G/GPRS), a 5MP camera, weighs 400g and its dimensions are 129mm × 197mm × 14mm.
The BizPad 10 tablet has a 10.1-inch (1280 × 800) WXGA IPS LCD capacitive touch panel with optional digitizer pen (sold separately). The device comes with a 1.3MP camera, weighs 700g and its dimensions are 263mm × 180mm × 14mm.
One day ago, Fujitsu announced the launch dates of Docomo ARROWS Tab LTE F-01D in Japan.
The launch of Docomo Tablet ARROWS Tab LTE F-01D (manufactured by Fujitsu) was scheduled (by Docomo) for mid-October this year, along with the launch of Docomo’s Tablet GALAXY Tab 10.1 LTE SC-01D, which was planned to be launched in beginning of October (in Japan). At that time Docomo posted just some of the specs of its ARROWS Tab LTE F-01D. Now, Fujitsu unveiled the full specs of the tablet and announced its exact launch date.
Today, Lenovo (Tokyo) announced the launch of its 7-inch IdeaPad Tablet A1 in Japan.
IdeaPad Tablet A1 has a 7-inch (1024×600) Wide HD LCD, multi-touch glossy display powered by 1GHz TI OMAP 3622 (Texas Instruments) Processor. The tablet also comes with 512MB of LPDDR2 memory, 2GB or 16GB of storage, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1, two cameras (0.3MP – front and 3MP – rear), micro USB, micro SD card reader (up to 32GB support).
