Lenovo will release a 10.1-incher Tegra 3 with ICS
Lenovo will release a 10.1-inch Tegra 3 tablet with Ice Cream Sandwich, till the end of 2011.
Today, Engadget reported (was tipped anonymously) that Lenovo is planning to release a new 10.1-inch tablet loaded with Google Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), by the end of the year. The tablet will be powered by Nvidia’s new Tegra 3 quad-core processor (Kal-El) and 2GB of memory.
There isn’t a lot on specs, but judging by the photos published on Engadget’s site, the tablet will come with an ergonomic design and aluminum alloy chassis, a standard USB 2.0 port, a rear-facing camera and a rear fingerprint reader, which will also work as a joystick (strolling), as seen in the past (April, 2007) on the Toshiba Portage G500 WM5 smartphone (also positioned at the rear).

Fujitsu releases its 13.3-inch LIFEBOOK SH76E-Worlds thinnest notebook with DVD in Japan
Yesterday, Fujitsu released its LIFEBOOK SH76/E – World’s thinnest 13.3-inch notebook with DVD Super Multi drive (World’s thinnest as from September 05th, 2011) in Japan, along with another nine renewed Lifebook models from Fujitsu’s Winter 2011 model lineup.

The FMV Series (made in Japan) LIFEBOOK SH76/E comes in a newly redesigned slim and lightweight magnesium alloy body in Matte Black color. Its chassis is just 16.6mm at its thinnest point and 23.2mm at its thickest part. The notebook weighs just 1.34kg including its battery and optical drive. Its 13.3-inch (1366×768) TFT LCD LED backlit display is powered by an Intel Core i5-2520M (Sandy Bridge) processor, Intel HD Graphics 3000, up to 8GB of DDR3 PC3 -10600 (Dual Channel) memory and 128GB SSD drive (from which 72GB are free).

The supply of aluminum alloy chassis for ultrabooks may fall short of demand in 2012. Ultrabook models already announced by Acer (Aspire S3), Lenovo (IdeaPad U300s), Toshiba (Portege Z830) and Asus (UX-series), all will ship with the metal chassis.

Panasonic announced its 12.1-inch TOUGHBOOK S10 business-rugged notebook. 
The Panasonic Toughbook S10 is powered by an Intel Core i5-2520M vPro CPU. The notebook delivers up to 12.5 hours of standard battery life (the longest in its class) and weighs only 3.0 pounds. Asus Expo 2011 is breaking the Limits in Vietnamese cities of Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi

Amazon takes preorders for the 7-inch VINCI Tab children tablet
Two days ago, Amazon started to take preorders for the 7-inch VINCI Tab – children tablet (intended for children up to 4 years of age), which was announced recently.

VINCI Tab comes in two models (VL-1001, VH-2001) and runs Google’s OS – Android 2.3. The tablet is powered by 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor and 512MB of RAM and has a 7-inch glossy (800 x 480) Multi-touch LCD wide-screen display. It also has a built-in Micro USB, 3MP back facing camera and can support playback and creation of 720p HD videos. It weighs 580g and comes with a 3200mAH battery (VL-1001), which can hold up to 3 hours (when playing games, watching video, or listening to music). A red, soft grip-able octagonal safety frame surrounds the VINCI Tab. The frame is planned to accommodate the smallest hands while preventing dropping of the hardware on little feet.
