Epson intros its iProjection App for wireless projections from iPad

Yesterday, Epson introduced its iProjection App for wireless projections from iPad and other Apple touch devices.

 

 

Epson’s iProjection App allows Apple mobile device users (with devices running iOS 4.2 or later, including the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch) to wirelessly display documents and photos to any networked Epson projector.

The iProjection app is also cloud-ready (supports cloud files services as Dropbox and various email applications) and is available for free in the App StoreSM. It is also compatible with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Apple Keynote, Adobe PDF, and supports JPEG and PNG images as well.

Samsung Galaxy Note AT&T model SGH-I717 will be available in US

Samsung Galaxy Note AT&T model SGH-I717 will soon become available in the US.

 

Samsung and AT&T are getting ready a Galaxy Note AT&T model with an NFC chip for the American market.

Yesterday, an unofficial leaked product picture of a Galaxy Note AT&T model was posted at Sammobile along with an inner one and some interesting info. The version of the tabletphone is expected to come to the US soon, and will be a bit different from the one we all know. That model will have a built-in NFC chip, which will allow a two-way contactless radio communication between devices, so as to settle payments, transactions and data exchange.

Qualcomm renames temporarily Qualcomm Stadium to Snapdragon Stadium

Yesterday, Qualcomm renamed Qualcomm Stadium to Snapdragon Stadium.

 

 

Qualcomm Incorporated is temporarily renaming Qualcomm Stadium to Snapdragon Stadium, so as to promote its Snapdragon mobile processors. Renaming Qualcomm Stadium will increase consumer awareness of the Snapdragon processors, which power more than 300 smartphones and tablets devices worldwide.

Qualcomm’s stadium renaming is collaboration between the City of San Diego, the San Diego Chargers and the San Diego Bowl Game Association.

Motorola’s new DROID XYBOARD tablets get 4G LTE via Verizon

Motorola’s new DROID XYBOARD tablets got 4G LTE via Verizon – “America’s fastest, most reliable 4G network”.

 

 

Motorola’s new DROID XYBOARD 10.1 and DROID XYBOARD 8.2 tablets are powered by 1.2GHz dual core processors, running Android 3.2 Honeycomb and will be upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS), at a later stage. 

Now, the DROID XYBOARD tablets became a part of Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE network, offering 5 – 12 Mbps download speeds and 2 – 5 Mbps up-speeds. The tablets are also equipped with MotoCast.

HP introduces its 8.9-inch HP Slate 2 Business Tablet and its new 11.6-inch HP 3115m Business notebook

Today, HP introduced its 8.9-inch HP Slate 2 business tablet and its new 11.6-inch HP 3115m business notebook.

The announced HP Slate 2 Tablet PC comes with expanded touch capabilities, enhanced multitasking performance and embedded security.

The HP Slate 2 has an 8.9-inch capacitive multi touch display, which supports touch and pen input plus a new Swype keyboard. It is powered by 1.5GHz Intel Atom Z670 processor (only 32-bit Windows 7 OS support), a small SSD (mSATA SSM) for faster boot times, and longer battery life – up to six hours (depends on use).
