NTT Docomo announced (in Japan) its Medias Tab N-06D – a 7-inch Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) tablet.

The Docomo MEDIAS TAB N-06D tablet comes in Silver (manufactured by NEC CASIO Mobile Communications), and is the first tablet compatible with V-High multimedia broadcasting service in Japan. Users will be able to watch mmbi’s Inc.’s “NOTTV,” (at 30fps, 720 × 480 in real-time – for a basic-service fee of 420 Yen – $5 USD per month) a mobile multimedia broadcasting station that will start operating on April 1st, 2012. Yesterday HP Announced TouchPad availability for U.S. (on July 1, 2011), Europe and Canada. The Wi-Fi version of first HP webOS tablet is also coming to Asia Pacific later this year.

HP’s first webOS tablet will be available in the United Kingdom, Ireland, France and Germany a few days later. Availability scheduled in Canada for mid-July to follow later this year in Italy and Spain, as well as in Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Singapore.
