Lenovo offers 5GB of free Cloud storage when a Lenovo notebook or tablet is purchased.

 

The company announced that it joined forces with SugarSync, so as to offer integrated Cloud storage service to consumers purchasing a new Lenovo ThinkPad/ IdeaPad notebooks and Android tablets worldwide outside of China, starting April, this year.

Intel sticks to its plans to launch Ivy Bridge at end of April

Intel sticks to its plans to launch Ivy Bridge processors at the end of April.

 

 

 

 

Intel is not going to delay its Ivy Bridge processors (by eight weeks) according to Mr. Jon Carvill, at Intel Media Relations. The company will keep its schedule, which has only been postponed by a few weeks and will officially announce its Ivy Bridge CPUs at the end of April, this year.

Acer updates Iconia Tab line of tablets to Ice Cream Sandwich

Two days, ago Acer America announced that will update its Iconia Tab line of tablets to Ice Cream Sandwich.

The ICS update will provide new features and improvements, including improved multitasking and switching between tasks, the faster browser, enhanced app and folder management, more intuitive navigation, and a completely reimaged design – more polished and with enhanced holographic effects.

NTT Docomo announces Medias Tab N-06D-a 7-inch Android tablet

NTT Docomo announced (in Japan) its Medias Tab N-06D – a 7-inch Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) tablet.

 

 

 

The Docomo MEDIAS TAB N-06D tablet comes in Silver (manufactured by NEC CASIO Mobile Communications), and is the first tablet compatible with V-High multimedia broadcasting service in Japan. Users will be able to watch mmbi’s Inc.’s “NOTTV,” (at 30fps, 720 × 480 in real-time – for a basic-service fee of 420 Yen – $5 USD per month) a mobile multimedia broadcasting station that will start operating on April 1st, 2012. The prices of first-generation Ultrabooks will most likely to drop by 20 – 30% in March, due to the upcoming third-generation Intel Ivy Bridge platform, which will be announced in April, this year.

Lenovo announces its portfolio of SMB notebooks

Yesterday, Lenovo announced its portfolio of SMB notebooks.

 

 

 

The portfolio includes the premium ThinkPad Edge S Series, the mainstream ThinkPad Edge E Series and entry-level Lenovo B Series, available in select markets. 

The ThinkPad Edge S430 notebook is equipped with the latest Intel Core processors and Thunderbolt Technology. The 14-inch notebook comes in Mocha Black, measures less than one-inch thin and has metal accents. It has a DVD burner or a second hard drive (up to 1 TB of storage), choices of Intel integrated or NVIDIA Optimus graphics, Dolby Home Theatre v4 and USB 3.0 ports. The notebook also comes with Lenovo Solution Center powered by Intel Small Business Advantage (a set of productivity and security tools).

Intel will unveil eight 22nm Ivy Bridge Mobile processors

Intel will unveil some of its 22nm Ivy Bridge notebook processors on April 8, 2012.

 

 

Intel is planning to release eight 22nm Ivy Bridge processors for notebooks and ultrabooks, around April 8th, next year.

The notebook processors Core i7-3920XM (Extreme Edition), i7-3820QM and i7-3720QM will be released in April 2012, with prices at $1,096, $568 and $378 USD, respectively. The rest five Ivy Bridge processors including Core i5-3520M, i5-3360M, i5-3320M, and Ultrabook processors Core i7-3667U and Core i5-3427U will be unveiled at later dates.
