India gets ViewSonic’s ViewPad 10s tablet, running Android 2.2 (Froyo) for $350 USD.

 

 

The ViewPad 10s tablet has a 10.1-inch (1024 x 600) capacitive multi-touch LED backlit display (200nits). It is powered by 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 250 SMP dual Cortex-A9 processor, 512MB of DDR2 (667MHz) memory and 512MB NAND Flash storage.

Fujitsu launches its new 7-inch Stylistic M350 tablet in Japan

Today, Fujitsu launched its 7-inch Stylistic M350 tablet for the Japanese market.

 

 

Fujitsu’s M-series – Stylistic M350 tablet is powered by a 1GHz Freescale i.MX 535 (Cortex-A8) processor, 512MB DDR3 memory and 8GB of eMMC Flash storage. The device also has a 7-inch WSVGA (1024 x 600) Capacitive multi-touch display, two cameras (1.3MP front-facing and 5MP rear), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth V2.1, USB 2.0 ports, a miniHDMI port and a microSD card reader.

Pantech applies patents for its waterproof Pantech Element LTE

Pantech applies for patents for its waterproof Pantech Element P4100 (AT&T) LTE tablet.

 

 

 

Today, Pantech announced that has already completed a patent application in Korea, for its waterproof technology used in the Pantech Element P4100 (AT&T) LTE tablet.

The Pantech Element P4100 LTE (4G) runs Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) and comes with an 8-inch XGA (1024 x 768) TFT capacitive multi-touch display. It is powered by 1.5GHz APQ 8060 Qualcomm (S3) dual–core processor and 16GB of storage (which can be expanded up to 32GB via the microSD card slot). The tablet also has a SIM slot, two cameras (2MP front-facing and a rear 5MP with flash and 4x digital zoom), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR, micro USB and micro HDMI port.

Kobian launches Mercury mTab2 7-inch low-budget tablet in India

Kobian launched Mercury mTab2 7-inch low-cost tablet for the Indian market.

 

 

The Mercury mTab2 tablet weighs 365g and is “a faster, lighter and smarter device” than the Mercury mTab.

The mTab2 tablet runs on Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread and supports Adobe Flash 10.2. The tablet is powered by a 1GHz Cortex A8 dual-core processor, 512MB of DDR3 memory and 8GB of storage.

Velocity Micro shows its upcoming Cruz Tablets ahead of CES

Velocity Micro shows its upcoming Cruz Tablet T507 and T510, ahead of CES 2012.

 

 

Velocity Micro (VM) uploaded a product page of its devices, with which the company will present itself at CES, this year. Two of them are the Cruz Tablet T507 – coming with a 7-inch (wide) capacitive Touch Screen, and Cruz Tablet T510 – with a 9.7-inch (4:3) capacitive screen and a chassis with 8.9mm thickness.
