Motorola launches its 10.1-inch Motorola XOOM 2 tablet in Italy

Yesterday, Motorola launched its 10.1-inch Motorola XOOM 2 tablet in Italy.

 

 

The Motorola XOOM 2 tablet comes with 10.1-inch widescreen HD display and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass (for scratch resistance) and a splashguard coating (water resistance). The tablet runs Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor.

Corning just uploaded an official video of its newest Gorilla Glass 2, which the company was exhibiting at CES 2012.

In the above lever press demonstration video, Corning tests and shows us (together with Microsoft) how ultra-thiner, tougher, damage resistant and more flexible is its next-generation Gorilla Glass 2 (compared to chemically strengthened Soda-lime glass and the company’s previous generation – Gorilla Glass).

Corning will showcase its next-generation Gorilla Glass 2 at CES 2012, in Las Vegas.

 

 

A few days ago, CORNING announced that will be introducing at CES (Corning booth, #12642 Central Hall) its new Corning Gorilla Glass 2 – a next-generation damage-resistant cover glass for electronic devices.

Corning Gorilla Glass, which made Corning one of the most famous companies at CES 2011, is currently being used by 30 major brands and designed into more than 575 products. Corning’s booth at CES will also exhibit Corning Gorilla Glass in larger format, touch displays for education, entertainment, auto, and home appliance applications featuring new designs.

Lenovo unveiled its new ThinkPad X1 Hybrid – dual-CPU Dual-OS business notebook.

 

 

Today, Lenovo announced its ThinkPad X1 Hybrid business notebook (with up to 10 hours of battery life with integrated 4-cell and external slice 6-cell battery).

The ThinkPad X1 Hybrid notebook has a 13.3-inch high definition display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The Hybrid is powered by two processors and comes with a dual operating system. When in Windows 7, the notebook uses latest Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processors, 160GB SSD or 320GB (5400rpm) hard drive. And when you switch to IMM (Instant Media Mode) the notebook starts using a dual core Qualcomm processor, 16 GB of additional storage and a custom Linux-based OS.

Motorola brings its 3G and WiFi Xoom 2 and XOOM 2 Media Edition tablet in Germany.

 

 

Yesterday, Motorola presented its new XOOM 2 and XOOM 2 Media Edition tablets to the German market.

Both tablets come with Android 3.2 (Honeycomb), 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and brilliant displays protected with Corning Gorilla Glass, splashguard nano coating and special flattened edges for easier holding.
