Acer releases its new 10.1-inch Acer ICONIA TAB A200 tablet
Yesterday, Acer released officially its new 10.1-inch Acer ICONIA TAB A200 tablet.
The A200 tablet is comes in two colors – Titanium Gray or Metallic Red. It is powered by a 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 Dual Core A9 processor, 1GB of memory and 8 GB/ 16 GB eMMC storage, which can expand up to an additional 32GB via the micro SD card reader.
The ICONIA TAB A200 tablet is equipped with a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800) WXGA capacitive multitouch LCD display and its connectivity include Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR, GPS, a 2MP front camera, a micro USB (client) and a Full Size USB 2.0 port (host).
Sharp announces its 7-inch Galapagos EB-A71GJ-B Media Tablet in Japan
On November 16th, 2011, Sharp announced its 7-inch Galapagos EB-A71GJ-B Media Tablet in Japan.
Sharp’s new Galapagos EB-A71GJ-B media tablet has a NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor, under the hood. It is equipped with a 7-inch (1024×600) WSVGA TFT LED backlit capacitive multi-touch display, 1GB of memory and 8GB of storage, which can be expanded via its card reader (up to 32GB).
Lenovo announces the launch of its 7-inch IdeaPad Tablet A1 in Japan
Today, Lenovo (Tokyo) announced the launch of its 7-inch IdeaPad Tablet A1 in Japan.
IdeaPad Tablet A1 has a 7-inch (1024×600) Wide HD LCD, multi-touch glossy display powered by 1GHz TI OMAP 3622 (Texas Instruments) Processor. The tablet also comes with 512MB of LPDDR2 memory, 2GB or 16GB of storage, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1, two cameras (0.3MP – front and 3MP – rear), micro USB, micro SD card reader (up to 32GB support).

Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet helps over 400 students to educate in Seton Hall University, U.S.

Seton Hall University announced that is the first higher education institution in the U.S. to use Lenovo’s ThinkPad Tablet PC, with more than 400 tablets (even more than the last announcement from Lenovo) now circulating among students and faculty in the Sciences, Honors and School of Business Leadership Programs. The University is making the 10.1-inch, Android 3.1 tablets a central part of its Mobile Computing Program as well as an essential teaching device.
Lenovo 10.1-inch ThinkPad Tablet available in the US
Lenovo 10.1-inch ThinkPad Tablet now is available through Business Partners and Online. Also, Seton Hall University will be the first educational institution to deploy the ThinkPad Tablet when 350 students begin using it this fall.

Unlike other tablets on the market, the 10.1-inch, Android 3.1 ThinkPad Tablet lets business users do more right out of the box, from working productively and securely to enjoying first-class entertainment features during downtime.

Lenovo provides IdeaPad K1 Android Tablet to students
Lenovo provided IdeaPad K1 Tablet (Google’s Android 3.1 Honeycomb) to students.

Lenovo announced that students in the Student Global Leadership Institute (SGLI) program are using the Lenovo IdeaPad K1 Tablet. The SGLI, annual initiative brings together students and government leaders globally to address world issues. The elite students will use the 65 tablets provided by Lenovo, to help them stay connected, track project progress and record their experiences as they address current, pressing energy issues through field studies and community services.
Sharp and eAccess releases Japans first Android 3.2 Tablet-the 7-inch GALAPAGOS A01SH
Sharp and eAccess (EMOBILE-Japanese broadband provider) released Japan’s first Android 3.2 Tablet – the 7-inch GALAPAGOS A01SH.
The GALAPAGOS A01SH tablet (Wi-Fi model) is equipped with 7-inch high-definition display and has a compact and lightweight Aluminum body. It’s powered by NVIDIA Tegra 2 Dual-core CPU and runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb. The tablet has 8Gb of storage (expandable to 32GB through card reader), 1GB RAM and weighs just 389g. Its battery life is about 7.5 hours (depending on use).
