The U300s has a 13.3-inch ultra-slim 16:9 widescreen HD display, 4GB DDR3 memory and up to 256GB of SSD storage.

Lenovo postpones shipment for the ThinkPad Edge E425 and ships the ThinkPad Edge E525 notebook from today

Today, Lenovo postponed the shipment for its ThinkPad Edge E425 and starts shipping just the ThinkPad Edge E525 notebook from today.

The ThinkPad Edge E525 (15.6-inch) and E425 (14-inch) are powered by an AMD A8-3500M processor and for faster boot-up and shut-down times are helped by Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0 for Windows 7 and the RapidBoot technology. In addition, LED backlit widescreen display, up to 8GB DDR3 RAM, up to 750GB HDD and both weigh approx. 4.6 lbs. The notebooks are loaded up-to Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and have about 6 hours of battery life (depending on usage).

Today, Lenovo announced its ThinkPad Edge E425 and E525 notebooks for Japan.

The ThinkPad Edge E425 and E525 are powered by AMD “Fusion” APU (Accelerated Processing Unit) with VISION Pro Technology. The stylish casing of the ThinkPad Edge E425/ E525 have soft matte finishes available in two different colors – heatwave red or midnight black with either an antiglare or glossy display. The 14-inch and 15.6-inch notebooks have island-style spill-resistant keyboard for more comfortable typing experience and a numeric pad (ThinkPad Edge E525).

The new ThinkPad Edge laptops project a smart, polished image with new soft finishes available in color choices of heatwave red or midnight black with either an antiglare or glossy display. Nearly 13 percent slimmer than previous versions, the laptops can easily fit in a briefcase. Lenovo presents its new 11.6-inch ThinkPad X121e notebook for Japan

Today, Lenovo (Tokyo-based) presented its new 11.6-inch ThinkPad X121e notebook for the Japanese market.

Powered by second-generation Intel Core i-Series or AMD’s Fusion APU (Accelerated Processing Unit), the X121e can work on a single charge up to 8.2 hours (with 6-cell Li-Ion battery installed). ThinkPad X121e has full-size drip-proof isolation keyboard and comes with the TrackPoint, which improves usability.

Lenovo announced ThinkPad X1, X220, X220i, T420s and T420i in Japan

Lenovo announced ThinkPad X1, X220, X220i, T420s and T420i for the Japanese market.

All products are equipped with the WiMAX module, 4GB of RAM and Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0 for Windows 7, which optimizes the performance of a PC with Windows 7. Also, the laptops are equipped with Lenovo RapidBoot Technology (enabling faster shutdown/boot times), Power Manager (reducing power consumption) and “Peak Shift”, which automatically avoid use of electricity during peak power consumption hours.
