Gigabyte intros its 15.6-inch P2542G gaming notebook at CeBIT

Today, Gigabyte introduced its 15.6-inch P2542G gaming notebook, at CeBIT 2012.

 

The Gigabyte P2542G is a gaming and multimedia notebook with a race car design, featuring a unique dual heat sink with dual air vents technology, for a powerful cooling during long hours of use. The machine has a 15.6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) LED backlight display, powered by a quad-core 3rd generation Intel Core i7 CPU (Ivy Bridge) and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M GPU with 2GB of video memory.

Gigabyte introduces the U2442V and U2442N Ultrabooks at CeBIT

Today, Gigabyte introduced the U2442V and U2442N Ultrabooks, at CeBIT 2012, in Hanover, Germany.

 

 

Gigabyte’s first ultrabook U2442 comes in two variants – U2442N and U2442V, both equipped with a 14-inch HD+ (1600 x 900) LED Backlit display, powered by an NVIDIA GeForce GT640M graphics processor with 2GB of VRAM.

Gigabyte releases globally docking station for S1080 and S1081

Yesterday, Gigabyte announced the international release (via its Facebook page) of the D1080 multimedia docking station for the S1080 and S1081 tablet PCs.

 

 

The D1080 docking station offers incredible sound system (two stereo and two 40mm woofer speakers), a built-in optical drive and plenty of connectivity ports for the S1080/ S1081 high-performing Windows 7 based tablets. It also comes with an HDMI port compatible with the S1081, and provides connection to peripheral devices such as keyboard, mouse, and an external monitor.

ASUS says HAPPY NEW YEAR-2012 is going to be totally ZEN

ASUS said “…HAPPY NEW YEAR!! 2012 is going to be totally ZEN.”

 

 

Today, Asus and other leading technology companies have sent New Year’s greetings to all of their fans on Facebook. 

The company wrote, “Everyone at ASUS wishes you a HAPPY NEW YEAR!! 2012 is going to be totally ZEN.”

That sounds a bit as a promise, and most likely we will be seeing lots of Zen Ultrabooks from Asus in the year of the dragon.

Two days ago, GIGABYTE uploaded an official unboxing video of its latest BookTop T1132, a 3-in-1 device that transforms into a notebook, a tablet and a desktop PC. 

The BookTop T1132 is powered by an Intel Core i5 processor. It has an 11.6-inch (1366 x 768) capacitive multi-touch display (180-degree rotable screen), Nvidia GeForce graphics, up to 4GB of memory, and up to 750GB hard drive.

 

Gigabyte officially announces its Booktop T1132 Giveaway

Gigabyte officially announced its “Booktop T1132 Amazing Giveaway”, starting from November 28th, 2011.

 

 

 

The Booktop T1132 (a successor of T1125) is the world’s first 3-in-1 computer that transforms into a notebook, a tablet and a desktop PC through its docking station.

The device has an 11.6-inch (1366×768) capacitive multi-touch display, powered by second generation Intel Core i5 processor, Nvidia GeForce graphics, up to 4GB of memory, and up to 750GB HDD.

Gigabyte will even give away a second unit, if the GIGABYTE Notebook Facebook page exceeds 6000 fans as of the final day of the contest on December 20, 2011.

Gigabyte booth at Summit Tech Show-Australia

The Gigabyte’s booth at the Summit Tech Show (Brisbane, Australia) and the Gigabyte/ Datascrip launch event of some Gigabyte devices in Jakarta, Indonesia.

 

 

Yesterday, Gigabyte uploaded six photos of its booth at the Summit Tech Show, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC), Australia. 

As we can see, Gigabyte showcased its 3-in-1 Gigabyte Booktop T1125 (a notebook, a tablet and a desktop PC in one), its latest notebooks (Booktop M2432, Q2532, P2532), the S1080 Windows 7 tablet (with USB 3.0 support) and the famous G1-Killer series – G1.Sniper 2 (gaming mobo). Most of those devices have become well-known for their innovative design and hardware features, from Asia’s largest IT tradeshow, COMPUTEX, TAIPAI (May 31st - June 4th, 2011) and Gigabyte’s official introduction of those machines.
