MLW Telecom and Telkom Indonesia launched SpeedUp Pad Ice tablet in Indonesia.

 

Today, MIPS Technologies, Inc. announced that together with MLW Telecom and MIPS licensee Ingenic Semiconductor are introducing the SpeedUp Pad Ice – a MIPS-Based Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) tablet to the Indonesian market.

ZTE announced the Global Launch of its 7-inch HD Light Tab 2 tablet

Today, ZTE Corporation (Shenzhen, China) announced the global launch (twitted about an hour ago) of its second-generation ZTE Light Tab 2 tablet in Hong Kong, Spain and Indonesia. The global launch will continue in Europe, France, U.K. and in Asia in Malaysia from early 2012.

The Light Tab 2 is 12.6mm thin, and is equipped with a 7-inch (1024 x 600) WSVGA HD TFT display, powered by 1.4GHz Qualcomm single core processor, 4GB of storage space and 512MB of memory. It comes with two cameras onboard, a 0.3MP CMOS front-facing camera and a 3MP rear camera with autofocus and 1.6x digital zoom. The tablet also supports Dolby surround sound and video playback formats including H.264, MPEG4 (720p) and Flash.

Gigabyte booth at Summit Tech Show-Australia

The Gigabyte’s booth at the Summit Tech Show (Brisbane, Australia) and the Gigabyte/ Datascrip launch event of some Gigabyte devices in Jakarta, Indonesia.

 

 

Yesterday, Gigabyte uploaded six photos of its booth at the Summit Tech Show, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC), Australia. 

As we can see, Gigabyte showcased its 3-in-1 Gigabyte Booktop T1125 (a notebook, a tablet and a desktop PC in one), its latest notebooks (Booktop M2432, Q2532, P2532), the S1080 Windows 7 tablet (with USB 3.0 support) and the famous G1-Killer series – G1.Sniper 2 (gaming mobo). Most of those devices have become well-known for their innovative design and hardware features, from Asia’s largest IT tradeshow, COMPUTEX, TAIPAI (May 31st - June 4th, 2011) and Gigabyte’s official introduction of those machines.

Samsung announces the launch of its new 7-inch Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus tablet

Yesterday, Samsung announced the launch of its new 7-inch Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus – Android 3.2 tablet.

The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus offers a portable, rich multimedia experience on a 7-inch WSVGA (1024×600) PLS display, packed with power and productivity into a premium lightweight design. The tablet runs Google Android 3.2 Honeycomb and provides enhanced portability, weighing only 345g and measuring at just 9.96mm thin.

The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus delivers powerful performance thanks to its 1.2GHz dual-core multitasking processor. The tablet supports Full HD videos and various video formats on its 7-inch WSVGA (1024×600) PLS display. Web browsing is also enhanced by Adobe Flash and super-fast HSPA connectivity, providing download speeds up to three times faster than a conventional HSPA connection. Also, Wi-Fi Channel Bonding combines two channels into one, improving network connectivity and data transfer speeds.

Samsung 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab sold-out in Indonesia

Samsung 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab was sold-out in Indonesia on the debut day of the event (Saturday) held in the Pacific Place Jakarta (shopping mall).

Today, Samsung announced that 1200 units were sold within the first seven hours (from the planned 1000, and 200 extra). Indonesia is one of the first Asian nations in, which the Samsung slate became available for purchase. A year ago, the 7-inch Galaxy Tab was also met with more-than-expected interest.
