ASUS announced the launch of its 10.1-inch Eee PC X101 slim Atom netbook or “the World’s Thinnest and Lightest Netbook” (as advertised by ASUS).

The ASUS Eee PC X101 netbook (announced earlier this year at Computex) features the latest Intel Atom N435 processor with 1GB of DDR3 RAM, 2x USB 2.0, MicroSD Card reader, built-in webcam and 8GB of SSD storage. It has a super thin 17.6mm profile and weighs just 920g.

ASUS Super Hybrid Engine (SHE) technology is also built-in to conserve battery life. The X101 is available with a seamless chiclet keyboard, comfortable large touchpad and in various colors including white, black, brown and red. Its battery life is about 4 hours (depending on use).

TESO EPC CO. LTD. launched its latest INTEL OakTrail Z670 products – Zpad Z10 and Tpad T10 at Taipei International Computer Show. The company also exhibited its Tablet PC line of products – Gpad G97, Lpad L10 and Teso P10 with INTEL Atom N455 CPU.

Both devices have 10.1-inch capacitive touch screen and built-in GPS navigation.  They supports 1080P high definition video. The machines run dual system – WINDOWS 7 and Android 3.0 (upgradable to Android 3.1) and can also be pre-installed with MeeGo. The  TESO T10 has the ultra-thin design and thickness almost equal to IPAD.  This is a rare quality of the X86 Tablet, which officially will began to ship in mid June this year.  Read the rest of this entry »
