Yesterday, Intel uploaded a new video of its Atom E6xx CPU-perfect for low power systems.

The formerly known Queens Bay (Tunnel Creek + Topcliff) Atom E6xx offers a rich software selection support – Android 2.3 Gingerbread (from Jannuary, next year), MeeGoo, Linux and Windows 7. With its low energy consumption it will provide plenty hours of battery life to embedded devices, POS systems and other (probably smartphones and tablets too). The CPU supports Integrated Graphics (2D/ 3D), DDR2 800MHz memory, Intel High Definition Audio, up to two SATAII storage devices, Gigabit Ethernet and up to 7 USB 2.0 ports (6 hosts and one client).

The Atom E680 (CT80618007035AA)/ E680T (CT80618007035AB) run at 1.60MHz with 512MB L2 cache and max. TDP of 4.5W and are the most powerful of all the Atom E6xx Series processors, combining power with Intel Platform Controller Hub EG20T with a maximum TDP of 1.55W.
