HP announced its ENVY 14 Spectre Ultrabook at CES 2012 in Las Vegas.

HP announced its new ENVY 14 Spectre – an Ultrabook with a 14-inch high-definition HP Radiance Display inside a 13.3-inch body, which is partially made of scratch-resistant glass (the lid, display, palmrest and HP ImagePad).

Samsung announced its PM830 mSATA SSD for ultraslim notebooks.

The Samsung PM830 mSATA (Mini-Serial Advanced Technology Attachment) SSD is designed for ultraslim notebooks and comes in four sizes of storage capacity - 32GB, 64GB 128GB and 256GB of cash memory. The drive weighs 8g and measures 50.95 x 30.00 x 3.80 mm, which is one third of a business card. The PM830 is based on 20 Nano Nand flash process technology and supports Mini SATA interface. Samsung already started mass production of the drive.
No word on pricing, yet.
HP introduces its new ENVY Notebook PCs-HP ENVY 15, HP ENVY 17 and HP ENVY 17 3D
Today, HP also introduced its new ENVY Notebook PCs – HP ENVY 15, HP ENVY 17 and HP ENVY 17 3D.
The HP ENVY series notebooks are equipped with Intel Core i processor, with optional Intel Quad Core and AMD Mobility Radeon HD graphic processors. Also, optional 3×3 wireless technology (up to three times the speed and twice the range of typical network connections).
The ENVY 15 and ENVY 17 are available with 15.6-inch or 17.3-inch optional Radiance Full HD Infinity displays. Radiance displays offer higher resolution, richer color, better brightness and wider viewing angles than traditional notebook displays. The ENVY 17 display offers 50 percent greater brightness than standard ones. And with its HDMI port and full-size DisplayPorts, users can connect up to three external monitors.

Today, HP introduced its 8.9-inch HP Slate 2 business tablet and its new 11.6-inch HP 3115m business notebook.

The announced HP Slate 2 Tablet PC comes with expanded touch capabilities, enhanced multitasking performance and embedded security.
The HP Slate 2 has an 8.9-inch capacitive multi touch display, which supports touch and pen input plus a new Swype keyboard. It is powered by 1.5GHz Intel Atom Z670 processor (only 32-bit Windows 7 OS support), a small SSD (mSATA SSM) for faster boot times, and longer battery life – up to six hours (depends on use).
