Apple is planning to ship iPad 3 in March and iPad 4 in October

Apple will ship its iPad 3 in March 2012, and later in October its iPad 4.

 

 

 

The iPad 3 will be equipped with a QXGA (1536 x 2048) display and longer battery life. Due to the launch of its iPad 3, and so as to compete with other companies like Sony, Motorola and Samsung (who’s tablets are priced at around $359 USD, and above), Apple will lower prices of the iPad 2 to $399 USD.

Samsung releases Galaxy Tab 10.1 Special Package for Samsung Lions 2011 Championship

Today, Samsung released its Galaxy Tab 10.1 Special Package for Samsung Lions 2011 Championship in South Korea.

 

 

So as to celebrate Samsung Lions’ 2011 Korean Series Championship, today Samsung released a Galaxy Tab 10.1 special package.

Samsung said it started receiving preorders for the special package from November 7th at Samsung d’light shops, Galaxy Zones and local Samsung mobile shops. The company also added that the launch date of the package is scheduled to be on November 11th, 2011 (today).

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Series 9 notebook received 2011 Tech Innovator Awards – Winners in the Editor’s Choice and Portables Categories, respectively (by UBM Channel’s CRN magazine).

 

 

 

 

CRN’s 9th annual Tech Innovator listing celebrates vendors that have introduced new products or solutions to drive advances in technology.

Yesterday, Samsung announced that its Galaxy Tab 10.1 received this year’s Editor’s Choice Award – as a brilliantly engineered tablet that is accessible to developers, solution providers and customers. The Samsung Series 9 notebook won in the Portables category and was recognized as a top-of-the line, ultra-lightweight and ultra-powerful computer with a sleek design.

Samsung launches new Galaxy Note S Pen apps

Today, Samsung launched some new Galaxy Note S Pen apps.

 

Samsung announced the launch of ‘S Choice’ – a new category of apps designed for the Galaxy Note’s S Pen, which will be available from Samsung Apps.

The Galaxy Note’s S Pen (advanced pen input technology), works with the full touch screen of the Galaxy Note to provide owners with a unique UI. The new apps already available from ‘S Choice’ include Soonr, OmniSketch, Zen Brush, ComicBook!, and iAnnotate PDF.

Lenovo postpones the launch of its 7-inch IdeaPad Tablet A1 in Japan

Less than an hour ago, Lenovo announced that will postpone the launch of its 7-inch IdeaPad Tablet A1 for the Japanese market.

 

 

On October 13th, Lenovo (Tokyo) announced that its 7-inch IdeaPad Tablet A1 will be available in Japan from October 28th, but today – due to significantly higher market demand – the IdeaPad tablet launch date was moved (by Lenovo) to November 9th, 2011.

ViewSonic announces officially its latest ViewPad 7e Android Gingerbread tablet

Yesterday, ViewSonic announced officially its latest 7-inch ViewPad 7e Android Gingerbread tablet.

The ViewPad 7e tablet comes in White, runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is powered by a 1GHz ARM A8 processor which makes it perfect for flash videos (Adobe Flash 10.3 support)  and web browsing. It also has a 7-inch (800×600) TFT LCD touch screen (with RiteTouch technology and multi-touch capability), 512MB DDR2 memory and 4GB of storage space expandable to 32GB via its micro SD card reader.
