Asus announced additional Spring 2012 notebook and netbook models for the Japanese market.

 

 

 

 

The additional Asus models for Spring 2012 include – the 11.6-inch Asus Hot Pink Zenbook UX21E, the 17.3-inch K73SD notebook, Eee PC 1025C/ Eee PC 1025CE  (the Flare Series), Eee PC 1225B, and the low-cost Eee PC X101CH netbook model.

ASUS announces its Spring 2012 notebooks models for Japan

Yesterday, ASUS announced its Spring 2012 notebook models for the Japanese market.

The Asus ZENBOOK UX21E Rose Gold (UX21E-KXROSE) is powered by Intel Core i5-2467M processor, 4GB of memory and 128GB SSD. The 11.6-inch ultrabook is loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS. It weighs 1.1kg and offers up to five and a half hours of battery life. The Rose Gold Ultrabook comes with a price of ¥94,800 Yen ($1236 USD).

AMD announces availability of Radeon HD 7000M notebook graphics

A few days ago, AMD announced availability of its Radeon HD 7000M notebook graphics chip.

 

 

 

 

The AMD Radeon HD 7000M mobile graphics is based on existing 40nm technology and will be available in notebook designs from leading manufacturers.The mobile GPUs includes AMD dynamic switchable graphics technology, AMD Vari-Bright technology and AMD PowerPlay technology. Some chips will offer higher clocks, GDDR5 support and new package designs.

Lenovo announces its portfolio of SMB notebooks

Yesterday, Lenovo announced its portfolio of SMB notebooks.

 

 

 

The portfolio includes the premium ThinkPad Edge S Series, the mainstream ThinkPad Edge E Series and entry-level Lenovo B Series, available in select markets. 

The ThinkPad Edge S430 notebook is equipped with the latest Intel Core processors and Thunderbolt Technology. The 14-inch notebook comes in Mocha Black, measures less than one-inch thin and has metal accents. It has a DVD burner or a second hard drive (up to 1 TB of storage), choices of Intel integrated or NVIDIA Optimus graphics, Dolby Home Theatre v4 and USB 3.0 ports. The notebook also comes with Lenovo Solution Center powered by Intel Small Business Advantage (a set of productivity and security tools).

Mouse Computer releases its 17.3-inch G-Tune LB-D701E-ES gaming laptop in Japan

Mouse Computer released a 17.3-inch G-Tune LB-D701E-ES gaming laptop in Japan, recommended for ELSWORD (Erusodo) – an online action adventure game for Windows.

 

 

The G-Tune LB-D701E-ES gaming notebook  is equipped with a second-generation 2.10GHz Intel Core i3-2310M dual core processor, 4GB of DDR3 (PC3-10600) memory and 320GB hard drive. Its 17.3-inch Full HD (1920×1080) widescreen glossy LCD display is powered by NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M with 1GB of VRAM and NVIDIA Optimus technology support. 

The gaming machine has a 1.3MP webcam, WiFi, Bluetooth V3.0 + HS, a DVD Super Multi drive, and a Japanese keyboard with numeric keypad. It also comes with an HDMI port, USB 3.0 ports, USB 2.0 ports, E-SATA port and a 7-in-1 card reader (up to 32GB). 

The LB-D701E-ES is loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, with SP1 already applied. The notebook weighs 3.09kg and its lithium-ion battery offers 2.8 hours of productivity.

Gigabyte booth at Summit Tech Show-Australia

The Gigabyte’s booth at the Summit Tech Show (Brisbane, Australia) and the Gigabyte/ Datascrip launch event of some Gigabyte devices in Jakarta, Indonesia.

 

 

Yesterday, Gigabyte uploaded six photos of its booth at the Summit Tech Show, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC), Australia. 

As we can see, Gigabyte showcased its 3-in-1 Gigabyte Booktop T1125 (a notebook, a tablet and a desktop PC in one), its latest notebooks (Booktop M2432, Q2532, P2532), the S1080 Windows 7 tablet (with USB 3.0 support) and the famous G1-Killer series – G1.Sniper 2 (gaming mobo). Most of those devices have become well-known for their innovative design and hardware features, from Asia’s largest IT tradeshow, COMPUTEX, TAIPAI (May 31st - June 4th, 2011) and Gigabyte’s official introduction of those machines.

Dell unveils its 14-inch XPS 14z notebook with an optical drive

Yesterday, Dell unveiled its 14-inch XPS 14z “Less Than an Inch Thin” notebook with an optical drive.

 

 

The new Dell XPS 14z is the thinnest fully featured 14-inch notebook with an internal optical drive and discrete graphics option. The XPS 14z delivers a powerful performance and stylish design. The notebook comes in anodized aluminum and magnesium alloy chassis with a palmrest in dark gray.

It is powered by Intel’s second-generation Core i5/ i7 processors, a 14-inch HD WLED display, a slot-load optical drive and NVIDIA graphics option. The XPS has a compact design – measures less than an inch thin and with a 14-inch HD display “Borders on Borderless” fitted into a 13-inch laptop form factor (offering 10 percent more viewing area than a 13.3-inch display).
