Yesterday, Sony updated its Z, S, E and C series Vaio notebooks for Spring 2012, with new processors and colors.
Now, Sony offers its Z series Vaio notebooks with Intel’s latest second-gen Core i7/ i5 processors and RAID 0 SSDs. In addition the Z series get a new Carbon Fiber Silver option and optional LTE (4G) support. The updated notebook is available with prices starting at $1949.99 USD, and in that amount the company includes also the Power Media Dock drive.

The LuvBook S Series (LB-S210B model) was introduced earlier this year, and now Mouse Computer (Japan) teamed up with Swarovski and Sanrio to release a new model in Japan – the LuvBook S Series Hello Kitty Edition notebook (LB-S210B-HKE).
The LB-S210B-HKE notebook comes in light Red color. Its top lid is designed in stylish brushed aluminum and depicts the cute Hello Kitty. Sanrio’s well known character (Hello Kitty) is embossed with 23 different Swarovski crystals, or a total of 1100 crystal pieces.
Sony refreshed its VAIO line notebooks for Winter 2011.Sony VAIO division released various updated models for the approaching holiday season, available on the Sony Store site.
This year, the VAIO S series made its debut by offering a new, alternative screen size, besides the 13.3-incher - the VAIO SA model. The S series features a 15.5-inch model, known as the VAIO SE model. The VAIO SE features are similar to its smaller sibling, with under 1-inch thin, flat design, AMD Radeon Hybrid Graphics (up to 1GB VRAM) and the optional sheet battery that can double its battery life. Prices of both, the 15.5-inch (SE) and 13.3-inch (SA) start at about $999 USD.
Mouse Computer launched its new 11.6-inch LuvBook S-Series notebook line in Japan.
The S-series notebook comes in three colors (Red, Blue and Silver) and seven different configurations, including one model with a 320GB HDD, three models with 500GB hard drives and three models with 80GB SSD drive. All models are powered by Intel’s Sandy Bridge Dual-Core processors (Intel Core i7-2640M, i5-2430M, i3-2310M/ i3-2330M and Celeron B800) and up to 8GB of PC3-10600 DDR3 memory.
Sony announced release dates of 12 Sony Vaio notebook models and 3D panels, which will be available this fall in Japan.
Sony’s Annual Fall models include the lightweight S-series (SE-series) with a large Full HD LCD screen. Also, two 3D panel models intended for mount on the C-Series (which can be mounted and easily removed by its brackets on 15.5-inch CB-series) for achievement of 3D viewing.
The Sony VAIO SE-series is a high performance 15.5-inch Full HD LCD notebook with a thin and lightweight design. It is powered by a second-generation Intel Core i5-2430M processor and AMD RADEON HD 6470M graphics (512MB). The notebook weighs approximately 1.99kg, with a body thickness of about 24.5mm.
