Kobian launched Mercury mTab2 7-inch low-cost tablet for the Indian market.

The Mercury mTab2 tablet weighs 365g and is “a faster, lighter and smarter device” than the Mercury mTab.
The mTab2 tablet runs on Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread and supports Adobe Flash 10.2. The tablet is powered by a 1GHz Cortex A8 dual-core processor, 512MB of DDR3 memory and 8GB of storage.

Today, Asus announced that is preparing to out an ICS update for the Transformer Prime.
The update version 8.8.3.33 will get better the focus capabilities of the Prime‘s camera, will enhance the touch experience, and the APK capabilities in Android Market. Asus will make available the Android 4.0 ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) FOTA worldwide update for the Prime, starting from January 12th, this year.
NEC updates its LifeTouch line with a 7-inch LT-B Android tablet in Japan
NEC updated its LifeTouch line with a 7-inch LT-B Android tablet (Cloud Communicator) in Japan.

A few days ago, NEC (Japan) launched its LifeTouch B (LT-B) – a slim and stylish, new business oriented tablet with a variety of features, including battery switching (users can carry multiple backup batteries for long-time use while away from the office), business security functions and water resistance. The LT-B features a stylish new design with a flat casing that is 20% smaller than existing models (LT).
The NEC LT-B tablet comes with a 7-inch (800×480) WVGA glossy TFT display, powered by a high-speed power-saving 1GHz TI OMAP4430 dual-core processor, 4GB of storage and 512MB of memory. It is also equipped with a 5MP high-resolution auto-focus camera, WiFi IEEE802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth V3.0, 3000mAh (replaceable battery) and a card reader (up to 32GB).
NEC LifeTouch B is loaded with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, supports Adobe Flash content and weighs approximately 400g.
Samsung launches its 11.6-inch Series 7 Slate PC in South Korea
Samsung launched its 11.6-inch Series 7 Slate PC in Seoul, South Korea.

Yesterday, Samsung held a media day in celebration of its official launch of the series 7 Slate PC, in South Korea. The Series 7 Slate PC was promised to be launched in South Korea- today (November 9th, 2011) and Samsung kept its promise.
The Slate PC is offering all of the features of a full-sized laptop in an extremely portable package. It comes with an 11.6-inch (1366×768) Samsung-exclusive SuperBright Plus capacitive touch HD display, which is viewable even in bright sunlight and has a 170-degree viewing angle (400nit). The slate also has a powerful Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of DDR3 memory, up to 128 GB solid state drive, and is loaded with Windows 7 Professional.

Yesterday, ViewSonic announced officially its latest 7-inch ViewPad 7e Android Gingerbread tablet.

The ViewPad 7e tablet comes in White, runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is powered by a 1GHz ARM A8 processor which makes it perfect for flash videos (Adobe Flash 10.3 support) and web browsing. It also has a 7-inch (800×600) TFT LCD touch screen (with RiteTouch technology and multi-touch capability), 512MB DDR2 memory and 4GB of storage space expandable to 32GB via its micro SD card reader.
Panasonic announces its 7 and 10.1-inch BizPad Android 3.2 Honeycomb rugged tablets in Japan
A few days ago, Panasonic announced its 7-inch and 10.1-inch BizPad Android 3.2 Honeycomb rugged tablets for the Japanese market.

Both tablet models are aimed at business users and will be available only in Japan.
Panasonic’s BizPad 7 tablet (JT-H580VT) comes with a 7-inch (1024 × 600) WSVGA resistive touch LCD display and IC card reader/ writer – FeliCa supported (3G/GPRS), a 5MP camera, weighs 400g and its dimensions are 129mm × 197mm × 14mm.
The BizPad 10 tablet has a 10.1-inch (1280 × 800) WXGA IPS LCD capacitive touch panel with optional digitizer pen (sold separately). The device comes with a 1.3MP camera, weighs 700g and its dimensions are 263mm × 180mm × 14mm.
Asus announces the launch of its 10.1-inch Eee Pad Slider SL101 for Japan
Today, Asus announced the launch of its 10.1-inch Eee Pad Slider SL101 for the Japanese market.

The ultralight Eee Pad Slider SL101 tablet comes in white. It is 18.3mm thin and weighs about 960g. The Slider’s 10.1-inch wide multi-touch IPS LCD screen (with scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass) is powered by NVIDIA Tegra processor, 32GB of storage space and 1GB LPDDR2 memory. The device runs Android 3.1 Honeycomb (upgradeable to 3.2), and supports Adobe Flash (can be downloaded from Android Market).
