India gets ViewSonic ViewPad 10s Android 2.2 tablet for 350 USD

India gets ViewSonic’s ViewPad 10s tablet, running Android 2.2 (Froyo) for $350 USD.

 

 

The ViewPad 10s tablet has a 10.1-inch (1024 x 600) capacitive multi-touch LED backlit display (200nits). It is powered by 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 250 SMP dual Cortex-A9 processor, 512MB of DDR2 (667MHz) memory and 512MB NAND Flash storage.

ViewSonic Intros its new 7-inch Android 4.0 tablet at CES 2012

A few days ago, ViewSonic introduced its new 7-inch Android 4.0 ICS tablet at CES 2012.

 

 

 

 

The ViewPad E70 is a 7-inch tablet running Google’s latest Ice Cream Sandwich OS.  The device is powered by 1GHz single core processor, 1GB of memory and 4GB storage. It also include a front and a rear-facing camera, Wi-Fi support, 1080p HDMI output and MicroSD card reader (offering up to 32GB of additional storage space).

ViewSonic announces officially its latest ViewPad 7e Android Gingerbread tablet

Yesterday, ViewSonic announced officially its latest 7-inch ViewPad 7e Android Gingerbread tablet.

The ViewPad 7e tablet comes in White, runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is powered by a 1GHz ARM A8 processor which makes it perfect for flash videos (Adobe Flash 10.3 support)  and web browsing. It also has a 7-inch (800×600) TFT LCD touch screen (with RiteTouch technology and multi-touch capability), 512MB DDR2 memory and 4GB of storage space expandable to 32GB via its micro SD card reader.

ViewSonic’s ViewPad 10pro tablet is now verified as Citrix Ready (trusted to enhance Citrix networking and virtualization solutions).

The dual OS ViewPad 10pro offers business users true Windows and Android experience. ViewSonic announced its 10.1-inch Windows and Google Android tablet, that has been verified as Citrix Ready.

The Citrix Ready program helps customers identify third-party solutions that are recommended to enhance virtualization, networking and cloud computing solutions from Citrix Systems, Inc. Also, it lets users to identify complementary products that can enhance Citrix environments and ensures Citrix Receiver compatibility. Through this partnership, ViewSonic’s customers can now access cloud-hosted virtual desktops and applications on their ViewPad 10pro tablet.

Viewsonic presents its 7-inch Viewpad 7x Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet-video

Viewsonic uploaded a video – presenting its new 7-inch Viewpad 7x Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet.

“Viewsonic Viewpad 7x, running Android Honeycomb - The ViewPad 7x has an NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor and HDMI out. It also features rear and front facing cameras. The ViewPad 7x sports a 1024 x 600 10-point multi-touch capacitive display and will also be bundled with a host of applications.”

Watch the official video of Viewsonic’s Third Generation tablet. The ViewPad 7x  is a 7-inch (1024×600 10-point multitouch) tablet and is powered by a Tegra 2 dual-core processor. It runs the latest Google Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS, including built-in Google Market (and other apps) and Flash Player 10.3 support. In addition, the 7x has a front webcam and 5MP rear camera, ergonomic design, a micro USB, micro SD and a micro HDMI port.

Viewsonic is offering the Viewpad 7x  (which has similar looks and specs like the Japanese seven incher – Camangi Mangrove 7 tablet) Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet for $399 USD, in the US .

Computex 2011 annual technology expo

Computex 2011 – the annual technology expo in Taipei, Taiwan—is one of the top three IT events in the world and is held from May 31 to June 5. It attracted over 1800 exhibitors who share over 5200 booths between them, split between three halls in the Xinyi district of Taipei and the exhibition hall in the Nangang district.  Attendees of COMPUTEX 2011 have an unprecedented opportunity to hear from industry visionaries and see public technology demonstrations.
