LG offers its Xnote Z330 Ultrabook with a free wireless mouse in South Korea.
Yesterday, LG announced amazing promotions, offering its customers discounts and free gifts when purchasing notebooks, Ultrabooks, TVs and other electronics from the company. From December 26th, 2011 – March 31st, 2012, LG Electronics will be running a marketing campaign in South Korea.
Samsung announced that will release 4G WiBro (WiMAX) embedded Notebooks and tablets.
Today, Samsung, KT (formerly Korea Telecom) and Intel together announced that will release 4G Wibro (WiMAX) capable notebooks after closely working together for nearly a year.
39 Samsung devices in 5 types are scheduled to be inbuilt with high-speed 4G Wibro, including the Series 7 Slate PC, the Series 3 300V, Series 3 300E, the Ultraslim notebook 350U and high performance notebook RC530. KT is now providing the national 4G Wibro service in 82 cities in South Korea.
Ainol gets official with its new $79 USD 7-inch NOVO7 PALADIN tablet
Today, Ainol confirmed officially the price of its NOVO7 PALADIN tablet (which was announced quietly last week), and now the company is showing off its capabilities.
The NOVO7 PALADIN comes with a 7-inch (800×480) capacitive dual touch screen, powered by Ingenic’s JZ4770 ultra-low power 1GHz XBurst processor and Vivante GC860 graphics chip, which is capable of decoding HD video in 1080p. In addition it is equipped with 8GB of storage (for system files and data), 512MB of DDR2 memory, WiFi, Bluetooth and external support for 3G. The tablet runs Android 4.0.1 ICS and also got its Linux kernel updated to version 3.0.8.
Sony launched its latest Sony Tablets in India.
Sony’s unique wedge-shaped Tablet S and the wallet-shaped Tablet P are now available in India. Both tablets are loaded with Android 3.2 Honeycomb and offer Swift & Smooth web browsing and engaging entertainment experience.
Sony Tablets are the first PlayStation Certified tablets on which can be played games for PlayStation Certified devices including the preinstalled Crash Bandicoot and Pinball Heroes. Both Tablets can wirelessly connect to DLNA compatible devices, where users can share photos and videos on their TVs. Yesterday, Qualcomm renamed Qualcomm Stadium to Snapdragon Stadium.
Qualcomm Incorporated is temporarily renaming Qualcomm Stadium to Snapdragon Stadium, so as to promote its Snapdragon mobile processors. Renaming Qualcomm Stadium will increase consumer awareness of the Snapdragon processors, which power more than 300 smartphones and tablets devices worldwide.
Qualcomm’s stadium renaming is collaboration between the City of San Diego, the San Diego Chargers and the San Diego Bowl Game Association.
Acer will release its Aspire S Series Ultrabook with Intel Core i7 CPU and 240GB SSD in Japan.
The Aspire S3-951-F74U comes with 1.7 GHz Intel Core i7-2637M processor, 4 GB of DDR3 1333MHz (PC3-10666) memory and a huge 240GB SSD drive. The device is equipped with a 13.3-inch (1366 × 786) WXGA TFT LED backlight display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, Camera, HDMI port, two USB 2.0 ports and an SD card reader.
The Aspire S3-951-F74U wakes from sleep mode for under 1.5 seconds and from hibernation within 6 seconds. The Ultrabook weighs 1.33kg and is 13mm thick at its thinnest part, also has a 3260mAh lithium-ion battery, and can hold on a charge up to 7 hours running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
