Samsung releases its 17.3-inch Series 7 Gamer Yellow – a notebook for ladies and youngsters.

Samsung’s Series 7 Gamer Yellow notebook’s display lid is colored in yellow, as well as some parts above the keyboard, the sides and rear of the machine. The company has applied to the exterior Glass Flake coating technology, to enhance durability and add elegance.

As we already know, the Series 7 Gamer notebook comes with an Intel Core i7-2630QM (quad-core – Sandy Bridge) processor and AMD Radeon HD 6970M  graphics card, with 2GB of GDDR5 memory. In addition, you get 8GB ExpressCache, up to 1.5TB hard drive space and up to 16GB of DDR3 memory. It also has a 17.3-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) SuperBright Plus (400nit) LED display, and the company also offers a 3D optional one.

The Series 7 Gamer Yellow is equipped with a backlight keyboard, a Blu-ray drive, 2MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v3.0, an HDMI port and USB 3.0 ports.  This gaming machine offers 3D surround sound and four levels of performance modes – ‘Gaming’ mode, ‘Balanced’ mode’, ‘Library’ mode (ultra quiet – fans work at low rpm), and ‘Green’ mode (for a longer battery life).

Since its release (in November, 2011), the notebook has been well recognized by the game industry, and also was selected as the official notebook of the World Cyber Games 2011 (the Series 7 GAMER).

Now Samsung offers it in yellow, so as to attract the attention of youngsters and female gamers. The Samsung Series 7 Gamer Yellow is expected to be priced at around $2354 USD.
