ASUS United Kingdom just confirmed the ICS update for TF101.

Twenty minutes ago, ASUS United Kingdom posted on its Facebook wall a confirmation of the promised long-awaited ICS update for its Eee Pad Transformer TF101 device.

Asus is getting ready to out new Transformer Prime 10.1-inch tablets.

According to a leaked confidential spec sheet posted by Tabletowo (a Polish site), Asus is preparing to out another two Transformer Prime models, both running ICS.

The TF300T will be equipped with a 1.2 GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 (Kal-El) quad-core processor, 1GB of DDR3 memory and 16GB of storage, under the hood. All the rest specs look the same as the TF201, apart from the 8MP rear-facing camera (without a flash light), its thickness of 9.9mm (the TF201 model is with 1.6mm thinner) and its battery life of 8.5 hours and 12.5 hours with the docking keyboard connected. Also, the TF300T model will be a bit weighty; weighing 640g (TF201 is 58g lighter).

Yesterday, ASUS introduced its Rose Gold and the Hot Pink Zenbooks, and a few tablets at CES 2012 in Vegas.

ASUS announced its new Ultrabooks – the Rose Gold and the Hot Pink colored ZENBOOK (video). The new ZENBOOK is powered by the latest Intel Core i7 processors, SATA3 SSD, Bluetooth V4.0 and USB 3.0 (with USB Charger+ technology).

Asus helps the modding community and unlocks the bootloader of its Transformer Prime device.Today, Asus announced that is preparing to out an ICS update for the Transformer Prime.

The update version 8.8.3.33 will get better the focus capabilities of the Prime‘s camera, will enhance the touch experience, and the APK capabilities in Android Market. Asus will make available the Android 4.0 ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) FOTA worldwide update for the Prime, starting from January 12^th, this year.

Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime delays all over the world – video.

Transformer Prime was one of the most wanted devices for the holidays…even in Germany (an unofficial video uploaded by an angry fan).

ASUS UK tweeted Amazon UK has gone live – Transformer Prime will finally come to the United Kingdom.

A few hours ago, AsusUK tweeted “Amazon.co.uk have gone live with their Transformer Prime pre-order page”. So, those lucky ones of you who live in the UK will have the chance to pre-order one in time for Christmas, and get the Prime on January 12^th, 2012 (sadly, Santa will delay not only in the UK). 

The Eee Pad Transformer Prime is the first tablet featuring Tegra 3 (Kal-El) quad-core processor (with a fifth – companion core). Asus did an exceptional tablet, which operates at exceptionally low power, and is also the most powerful one, now days.

Asus uploaded official photos of Transformer Prime vs Zenbook UX21.

Asus just uploaded on Facebook, nine photos of its latest Android and Ultrabook devices – cheek to cheek, the Eee Pad Transformer Prime vs Zenbook UX21. 

Both devices look incredible next to each other and their appearance too. The Prime is a bit thicker, but let’s not forget that it’s a two-in-one device and is not called an Ultrabook. It will be interesting to see how the rumored upcoming Ultrabook of Asus (with its swivel-screen) will look next to the Zenbook. But for now we will have to wait till next year, hopefully at CES in Las Vegas.
