1&1 (a German ISP) has set up three tablet packages – for those of you who live in Germany and are thinking of getting a tablet PC. The company is offering a choice of 3 tablets (Huawei MediaPad 3G, a Motorola Xoom or a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1N) with a SIM card, up to 14.4Mbps mobile broadband internet speeds and 100GB of storage space for 39.99 Euro per month ($52 USD), plus an activation fee of 29.90 Euro ($39 USD).

Huawei expands markets in New Zealand

Huawei expands markets in New Zealand and Mark Treadwell, Huawei Devices Australasia’s head of marketing, says the brand’s focus is on technology that is innovative but also affordable.

Huawei displayed its new Mediapad (the world’s first 7-inch Android 3.2 Honeycomb dual-core tablet) plus other of its newest Andriod-powered smartphones and devices at an event on Auckland’s waterfront. Huawei announced it is the company’s goal to be one of the top five handset sellers worldwide by 2013.

A few hours ago, Huawei updated its MediaPad tablet gallery with 16 new photos. The MediaPad (announced recently) is one of the most expected tablets, now a day.

Huawei introduced MediaPad Android 3.2 tablet – advertised as the smartest, lightest and most portable tablet yet. 

A Dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm CPU, powers this tablet. It runs the latest Android 3.2 Honeycomb Google OS. Has a 7-inch HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display, SRS sound, 1.5MP front facing camera for conferencing and a 5MP rear facing auto focus camera for photo or movie creation.
