Today, Samsung announced its GALAXY Note 10.1 at MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2012 in Barcelona.

 

The Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 is equipped with a 10.1-inch WXGA (1280×800) PLS TFT display, powered by 1.4 GHz dual-core processor, up to 64GB of storage space and 1GB of memory.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 was shown on a billboard in Barcelona.

 

 

A day before the beginning of the MWC 2012, in Barcelona, Samsung began showing its new Galaxy Note 10.1 on outdoor billboards. The device has a 10.1-inch display and also comes with an S pen input support (as seen on the image above), and will most likely run ICS at a later stage, as its smaller sibling, which was released in the States (from AT&T) with Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

Samsung announces a new 7-inch-GALAXY Tab 2 Android 4.0 tablet

Samsung announced its new 7-inch – GALAXY Tab 2 Android 4.0 tablet.

Today, Samsung introduced its first tablet for 2012 – the GALAXY Tab 2 (7.0) running Android 4.0 (ICS).

The tablet is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of memory and 8/ 16/ 32GB of storage space. It has a 7-inch WSVGA (1024 x 600) PLS TFT display, WiFi, Bluetooth v3.0, USB, a webcam, a 3MP rear-facing camera with fixed focus and a microSD card reader (for additional 32GB storage). The tablet weighs just 344g with its standard 4000mAh Li-ion battery.

Samsung knows how to popularize its devices – via sports events.

The company delivered a few Galaxy Note tablet-smartphones to Russian tennis players including Maria Sharapova, Svetlana Kuznetsova and a few others. Samsung gave the devices loaded with caricatures of the players, at the Women’s Tennis Fed Cup 2012.

Samsung announces shipping dates of Galaxy Note AT&T 4G LTE

Today, Samsung announced the shipping dates of the Galaxy Note AT&T 4G LTE tabletphone.

 

 

The Galaxy Note (the device combining a smartphone and a tablet) comes with the world’s first 5.3-inch HD (1280×800) Super AMOLED screen, offering sharp, clear colors and readability – indoors and outdoors. The tabletphone also comes with the S Pen, with which users can easily sketch drawings, write notes, emails and texts. In addition, you get the S Memo application, which lets you create content captured by the S Pen, and combine and convert it to a ‘memo’.

If you plan to visit London, and one of its biggest attractions – its giant Ferris wheel, now you will be guided by a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet.

Yesterday, Samsung Electronics announced that the company has implemented 192 units of its Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet in the 32 passenger capsules of the London Eye. The devices will assist tourists and passengers by providing information about famous attractions in London, while they look over the River Thames and enjoy great views of the city at 135 meters (443 ft) height.
