Asus announced additional Spring 2012 notebook and netbook models for the Japanese market.

The additional Asus models for Spring 2012 include – the 11.6-inch Asus Hot Pink Zenbook UX21E, the 17.3-inch K73SD notebook, Eee PC 1025C/ Eee PC 1025CE  (the Flare Series), Eee PC 1225B, and the low-cost Eee PC X101CH netbook model.

Yesterday, ASUS announced its Spring 2012 notebook models for the Japanese market.

The Asus ZENBOOK UX21E Rose Gold (UX21E-KXROSE) is powered by Intel Core i5-2467M processor, 4GB of memory and 128GB SSD. The 11.6-inch ultrabook is loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS. It weighs 1.1kg and offers up to five and a half hours of battery life. The Rose Gold Ultrabook comes with a price of ¥94,800 Yen ($1236 USD).

Yesterday, ASUS introduced its Rose Gold and the Hot Pink Zenbooks, and a few tablets at CES 2012 in Vegas.

ASUS announced its new Ultrabooks – the Rose Gold and the Hot Pink colored ZENBOOK (video). The new ZENBOOK is powered by the latest Intel Core i7 processors, SATA3 SSD, Bluetooth V4.0 and USB 3.0 (with USB Charger+ technology).

Asus uploaded official photos of Transformer Prime vs Zenbook UX21.

Asus just uploaded on Facebook, nine photos of its latest Android and Ultrabook devices – cheek to cheek, the Eee Pad Transformer Prime vs Zenbook UX21. 

Both devices look incredible next to each other and their appearance too. The Prime is a bit thicker, but let’s not forget that it’s a two-in-one device and is not called an Ultrabook. It will be interesting to see how the rumored upcoming Ultrabook of Asus (with its swivel-screen) will look next to the Zenbook. But for now we will have to wait till next year, hopefully at CES in Las Vegas.

ASUS ZENBOOK UX21 Ultrabook is now available for pre-order through Comet (UK).

Yesterday, ASUS UK announced that its ZENBOOK UX21 Ultrabook is now available for pre-order through Comet in the United Kingdom. The compact and light Zenbook (UX21E-DH52) comes with Intel Core i5-2467M (Sandy Bridge) processor, 11.6-inch HD (1366 x 768) LED backlit display, 128GB of SSD storage and 4GB memory.

Asus announced prices and availability of its Zenbook in Spain.For Spain, Asus will offer four of the total five Zenbook Ultrabook models, which were announced last week in the US. 

• Zenbook UX21 – UX21E-DH52
• Zenbook UX31 – UX31E-DH52, UX31E-DH53, UX31E-DH72

The ultrabooks will be available in Spain from mid-November this year, with prices starting from € 999 ($1374 USD) to € 1,299 ($1786 USD), VAT included.

ASUS announced availability of its ZENBOOK with 128GB SSD in the UK.

ASUS’s will offer its ZENBOOK UX21 and UX31 Ultrabook with a 128GB of SSD storage in the UK.

The ZENBOOK UX21 has the same specs equivalent to the UX21E-DH52 US model – Intel Core i5-2467M processor, 11.6-inch HD (1366 x 768) LCD display and 128GB of SSD.

The UK model of Asus ZENBOOK UX31 is alike the UX31E-DH72 US model – Intel Core i7-2677M processor and 13.3-inch HD+ (1600 x 900) display, except the SSD capacity which is set to 128GB.
