Samsung expands its Premium Notebook New Series 9 with new CPUs

Samsung expanded its Premium Notebook New Series 9 Lineup with new processors.

 

 

 

Today, Samsung Electronics announced, that the company is adding new processor versions to its Pemium Notebook New Series 9.

Now, the 13.3-incher will be equipped with an Intel Core i5 processor, while the 15.6-inch model will come with Core i5/ i7 CPU versions, making the new (second-generation) series 9 to have 4 line-ups.

Samsung releases its Series 5 Ultra in Pop Pink and Mocca Brown

Samsung released its Series 5 Ultra in Pop Pink and Mocca Brown colors, for the South Korean market.

 

 

Today, Samsung released two new versions of the Samsung Notebook Series 5 ULTRA – the Pop Pink and Mocca Brown, targeting female and younger consumers.

The Series 5 ULTRA Pop Pink and Mocca Brown Edition is equipped with a 13.3-inch HD LED (1366 x 768) SuperBright anti-reflective display (with Image Enhancer technology), powered by Intel Core i5 processor and 4GB of memory.

ASUS announces its Spring 2012 notebooks models for Japan

Yesterday, ASUS announced its Spring 2012 notebook models for the Japanese market.

The Asus ZENBOOK UX21E Rose Gold (UX21E-KXROSE) is powered by Intel Core i5-2467M processor, 4GB of memory and 128GB SSD. The 11.6-inch ultrabook is loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS. It weighs 1.1kg and offers up to five and a half hours of battery life. The Rose Gold Ultrabook comes with a price of ¥94,800 Yen ($1236 USD).

Sony updates its VAIO notebook models for Spring 2012 in Japan

Today, Sony announced the updates of its VAIO notebook models for Spring 2012 in Japan.

The VAIO S (SE) series got an upgrade with a 15.5-inch Full HD (1920 × 1080) IPS display with a wide viewing angle. Sony launches a new VPCSE28FJ/ S (Silver) model weighing 1.99kg and being 24.5mm thick.

The VPCSE29FJ/ B (Black) model’s CPU is now upgraded to the latest second-generation Intel Core i7-2640 processor, a Blu-ray Disk Drive and an optional 3D glasses-less attachable panel. Both model’s battery life can be extended from 6.5 to 13 hours, when connected to the extended sheet battery.

Toshiba announce the release of its Spring 2012 notebook models

Toshiba announced the release of its Spring 2012 notebook models for the Japanese market.

 

Today, Toshiba released four new models of its dynabook R731 notebook series, one dynabook Qosmio T751 model, and a model  of its dynabook Qosmio T551 notebook line (all in two colors).

Toshiba’s dynabook R731 series notebook is the World’s lightest 13.3-inch notebook with an optical drive. The notebook comes with a slim, compact and lightweight magnesium alloy body, and weighs just 1.29kg. The dynabook R731 is equipped with the latest Intel Core i7/ i5 Sandy Bridge processors, up to 8GB of DDR3 1333MHz memory and 120GB of SSD or 640GB hard drive. It has a 13.3-inch HD (1366 x 768) TFT LCD LED backlit display (16:9), powered by the integrated Intel HD Graphics 3000.

Yesterday, Dell announced its XPS 13 Ultrabook at CES 2012 in Las Vegas.

 

 

 

 

 

At Intel’s keynote (at CES) Jeff Clarke, Dell’s vice chairman of Global Operations and End User Computing, announced DELL’s new XPS 13 Ultrabook.

The XPS 13 is powered by a second-generation Intel Core i5/ i7 ULV processors (the i5-2467M or i7-2637M), Intel HD3000 integrated graphics controller, 128 GB SSD or 256GB SSD drive, and 4GB of DDR3 1333MHz memory.

Lenovo announces its portfolio of SMB notebooks

Yesterday, Lenovo announced its portfolio of SMB notebooks.

 

 

 

The portfolio includes the premium ThinkPad Edge S Series, the mainstream ThinkPad Edge E Series and entry-level Lenovo B Series, available in select markets. 

The ThinkPad Edge S430 notebook is equipped with the latest Intel Core processors and Thunderbolt Technology. The 14-inch notebook comes in Mocha Black, measures less than one-inch thin and has metal accents. It has a DVD burner or a second hard drive (up to 1 TB of storage), choices of Intel integrated or NVIDIA Optimus graphics, Dolby Home Theatre v4 and USB 3.0 ports. The notebook also comes with Lenovo Solution Center powered by Intel Small Business Advantage (a set of productivity and security tools).
