Today, Samsung finally launched its GALAXY Tab 10.1 in Australia.

Last Friday, the Australia’s High Court lifted the sales ban of Samsung’s shoulders, and now Australian shoppers will have the opportunity to purchase a Galaxy Tab, in time for the Christmas shopping season.
Today, Samsung Electronics Australia, announced the launch of its GALAXY Tab 10.1 slim and light tablet, which will run Samsung’s customised version of Android 3.1 Honeycomb.

Yesterday, Mobile In Style announced the release of its first tablet – Eden TAB ET-701.
The Eden TAB ET-701 is offered in three colors – White, Pink and Black. It is powered by 1.2GHz Samsung S5PC210 Dual Core processor, 1GB of LPDDR2 memory and 16GB of storage space. The tablet has a 7-inch (1280 × 800) high resolution LCD display (just like the Toshiba REGZA AT3S0/35D PA3S035DNAS).

Panasonic will showcase its 10.1-inch TOUGHPAD FZ-A1 rugged tablet at the Tokyo Big Sight – Tokyo International Exhibition Center, in Japan (tomorrow).

The TOUGHPAD FZ-A1 rugged tablet is Panasonic’s new entry in the business oriented tablet sector. The slate is packed with premium security features like FIPS 140-X Level 2, which is adding requirements for physical tamper-evidence and role-based authentication – System On a Chip (SoC), and offers the most rugged, reliable and enterprise-appropriate tablet experience developed especially for business users.

The Iron tablet is powered by a 1.2 GHz Cortex-A8 processor (TELECHIPS TCC8803), 512MB of DDR3 memory and 4 GB SSD, which can be expanded with additional 32GB, via its micro SD card reader.

Today, Lenovo (Tokyo) announced the launch of its 7-inch IdeaPad Tablet A1 in Japan.
IdeaPad Tablet A1 has a 7-inch (1024×600) Wide HD LCD, multi-touch glossy display powered by 1GHz TI OMAP 3622 (Texas Instruments) Processor. The tablet also comes with 512MB of LPDDR2 memory, 2GB or 16GB of storage, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1, two cameras (0.3MP – front and 3MP – rear), micro USB, micro SD card reader (up to 32GB support).

Today, Asus announced the launch of its 10.1-inch Eee Pad Slider SL101 for the Japanese market.

The ultralight Eee Pad Slider SL101 tablet comes in white. It is 18.3mm thin and weighs about 960g. The Slider’s 10.1-inch wide multi-touch IPS LCD screen (with scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass) is powered by NVIDIA Tegra processor, 32GB of storage space and 1GB LPDDR2 memory. The device runs Android 3.1 Honeycomb (upgradeable to 3.2), and supports Adobe Flash (can be downloaded from Android Market).
